      Description

      High-Performance Intercooler. The SpeedFactory Racing HPX Dual Backdoor Front Mount Intercooler; 3-Inch Inlet/3.50-Inch Outlet is engineered to enhance engine performance by delivering significantly cooler, denser air for combustion. Ideal for both street and racing applications, it supports power levels from 1000 to 1200 horsepower, ensuring efficient charge air cooling under demanding conditions.

      Construction and Appearance. This intercooler features a 4.5-inch thick air-to-air core with a bar and plate design that utilizes staggered fins optimized for maximum cooling efficiency and minimal pressure drop. The custom hand-formed end tanks are crafted from high-quality H-3 5052 aluminum and fully TIG welded to provide durability and smooth airflow. It is finished with the SpeedFactory logo stenciled on the core face and includes aluminum M8x1.25mm mounting bungs for easy installation.

      Installation. Installation requires standard modifications to fit most Honda and Acura chassis, providing a tidy fit between front frame rails. The intercooler is designed to minimize charge pipe lengths, simplifying the setup without extensive fabrication or drilling.

      Application. Universal; Some adaptation may be required.
