OPR's front sway bar end link we're taking a quick look at today is going to be a good OEM quality factory replacement option for any Mustang owner out there that's on a budget and doesn't need to replace a worn out or broken link. Looking ahead to the installation, though, here you're looking at a pretty light to a moderate one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter here and about an hour job, and I'm going to have more information for you coming up on that later. While sway bars themselves are almost never going to fail, that's sadly not the case with their links. That could be due to the fact that the ball and socket is continuously moving and after a while it just gives out. Some of the tell-tale signs that you have a bad link is going to be a little bit of a loose feeling in the steering wheel. From personal experience, what I've found in the past on many cars is that it's usually going to be a pretty loud clunk or an unsavory sounding rattle. Manufactured from factory style equipment, this end link is going to come with OE style rubber bushings which will help get you and your Mustang back on track in the event it's feeling a little loose. Something to keep in mind here is that this is a factory style replacement. This is not a performance part by any stretch of the imagination. It's not going to be adjustable in any way. It will not feature aluminum bushings which is something that tends to be geared towards a performance driven car. The down side there is that it can create a little bit more of a rougher ride. Pricing wise here, guys, expect to be spending only $15 for this factory style replacement which will make this one of the most inexpensive end link options out there at the time we're shooting this video. Switching gears to the installation portion of the video, you're looking at a very easy one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter here and about an hour's worth of labor. All you're going to need is a basic socket set, a solid jack or jack stands, torque wrench and just a little bit of patience. Getting started, guys, you're going to want to get that car off the ground, pull your wheels and tires and begin by removing the top end link nut from the sway bar. After that, you'll want to work down and then remove the bottom end link nut just as you did previously with the top. After that, guys, you're damn near done. It's more or less just going to be getting your new sway bar end link in place and reinstalling it in a reverse order. That'll conclude the install portion and my quick review of OPR's front sway bar end link fitting your '05 through '14 Mustang which can be found right here at AmericanMuscle.com.
