Description

The Baer Pro+ Rear Big Brake Kit with 14-Inch Rotors and Red Calipers is engineered to deliver superior stopping power and enhanced braking performance for demanding driving conditions. Designed specifically for rear axle applications, this kit ensures reliable and consistent braking, making it an essential upgrade for performance-oriented Chevrolet Camaro SS models.
Construction and Appearance. This brake system features 6-piston fixed calipers CNC machined from high-quality forged or billet aluminum sourced in the USA. The calipers are finished with a durable red powder coat that provides corrosion resistance and an attractive appearance. The rotors use a two-piece design with a billet aluminum hat, zinc plating for rust protection, and are slotted and drilled to improve heat dissipation and reduce brake fade. Stainless steel pistons, abutments, and noise suppression clips further enhance durability and reduce noise.
Installation. Installation of this rear brake kit is straightforward and designed for bolt-on fitment without the need for drilling or machining. It utilizes existing OE rear knuckles and hubs, allowing for a smooth upgrade using common hand tools.
Application. This brake system fits the rear axle of Chevrolet Camaro SS models from 2010 through 2015 with a 5x120mm lug pattern and requires wheels of at least 18 inches in diameter.
