      Hi I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, and I have with me Forgestar’s CF5 monoblock wheels available in your choice of either gunmetal, piano black, matte black, and silver, fitting all 2005 and newer Mustangs. The CF5 features a timeline concave 5 spoke wheel design which never seems to go out of style, and looks good on pretty much every generation of Mustang both new and old. These monoblock or one piece aluminum wheels go through an advanced process during production, called rotary forging, what this does is greatly improve the strength of the barrel of the wheel, while managing to keep the overall weight down, you’re going to be looking at a very lightweight, very strong combination. The CF5’s are offered in a couple of different sizing options, we have an 18” version shown here in gunmetal, and a 19” diameter shown in Piano black. The wheels are also offered in both 9 and 10 inch widths, and because of the different width options, you can easily achieve that staggered fitment, by sticking the wider 10” wheels in the rear, and the 9’s up front. On the other hand you can go with the standard fitment, which will give you the same width wheels on all 4 corners, maintaining the ability to properly rotate your tires. Chances are if you’re picking up new wheels, you’re going to need new tires, we do offer a couple of pre built tire and wheels combinations, where we pair your new CF5’s up with some of the top tires on the market today, in sizes that are guaranteed to fit your Mustang without rubbing, even if you’re lowered an inch or two. On top of that you get to take advantage of our free mounting and balancing, and free shipping and handling, and finally all Forgestar wheels are backed by a lifetime warranty. When it does come time to install your new wheels and tires, just grab a floor jack and some basic hand tools. You’ll want to crack the lugs loose first with the car still on the ground, once you’ve done that simply jack the car up and swap all the wheels and tires, it doesn’t get much easier than this, but since there is a little work involved, we’ll call it an hour from start to finish just to be on the safe side.       Description

      CF5 - Classic Star Design. Now you can have the classic five spoke star design of yesteryear in modern sizes for your Mustang with a set of Forgestar CF5 wheels. The CF5 wheel has a five point star pattern that features concave spokes making it the perfect wheel for your modern Mustang.

      Rotary Forged. Forgestar uses a unique Rotary Forged Flowforming process that both lightens and strengthens the wheel. The process starts with a low pressure aluminum casting that is set in a special machine that spins and heats the outer barrel of the wheel, then steel rollers press against the barrel to pull the rim into its final width and shape. The combination of the heat, pressure and spinning creates a barrel with the strength similar to that of a forged wheel.

      Gunmetal Finish. The subtle tones of the high quality Gun Metal finish (sometimes called anthracite) are a perfect balance that looks great on any color Mustang. These gunmetal Forgestar wheels feature a durable powder coated finish to protect against the hazards of road chips and pitting.

      Application. This Forgestar CF5 Wheel fits the front or rear of all 2005-2009 Ford Mustangs. Stagger with a 19x10 wheel on the rear for an aggressive muscle car stance and improved traction.
