The BluePrint Engines Small Block Chevy 400 C.I. 500 HP Long Block Crate Engine delivers a powerful 500 horsepower and 510 ft. lbs. of torque, designed for enthusiasts seeking durable and reliable muscle car performance. It serves as a complete long block assembly, ready for use in builds requiring a high-output GM small block compatible engine.

      CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. Built with a high-strength cast iron block and premium forged internals including pistons and crankshaft for durability and strength under high performance. The aluminum cylinder heads feature a raised port design for enhanced airflow, while the engine finishes come prepared with valve covers, timing cover, and oil pan, showcasing a robust and race-inspired assembly.

      INSTALLATION. Installation is straightforward for experienced professionals with no need for additional drilling or modifications thanks to its comprehensive factory-machined provisions including clutch linkage and mechanical fuel pump mounting. The long block configuration allows ease of integration into compatible vehicles.

      WARRANTY. This engine comes with a 30-month or 50,000-mile warranty covering parts and labor, providing peace of mind and confidence in its build quality.

      APPLICATION. Fits GM Small Block Compatible 400 cubic inch engine applications. Not intended for EGR systems and features performance aluminum heads with raised ports requiring appropriate supporting components.
