How To Install a Chrome Master Cylinder Pump Cover for your 1996-2004 4.6L Mustang

1. Before doing the install let the engine cool. 

2. Locate the master cylinder pump which is to the left of you brake reservoir. 

3. Next, take your cover and squeeze the cylinder piece that goes over you master cylinder to fit the cap over it. 

4. In my case, the install was a bit more difficult to put on with the brake reservoir cover. 

5. Next, you will want to take your cover all put together and place it on the master cylinder. 

6. After getting the cover started onto the master cylinder, you will want to go ahead and push it on all the way. 

7. Once you’ve got the cover positioned with the slit down and tight onto the master cylinder. The job is done. 

8. You’ve just successfully installed your master cylinder cover.
