Better Flow, More Power. Ford actually did a decent job on the Mustangs catalytic converters, but the stock H-Pipe is pretty restrictive. That's where the Heartthrob Flowpack Cat-to-Axle X-Pipe Kit comes into play. Featuring a X crossover and 3" free-flowing mandrel-bent piping, this Heartthrob Mid Pipe will dramatically improve exhaust flow for more power and sound that you can feel.

Race Car Growl. This free flowing Heartthrob Flowpack Cat-to-Axle X-Pipe Kit for the 2011-2013+ GT Mustang's not only increases power, but it also adds a loud raspy, race car growl to the sound of your exhaust with its modern "X" crossover pipe and mid muffler design.

Reuses Stock Cats. The installation of the Heartthrob Exhaust cat to axle system requires removing the stock exhaust piping from the catalytic converters back to the axle-back, and reuses the factory catalytic converters saving you money. Clamps and instructions are provided.

Versatile Design. The unique design of the Heartthrob Cat-to-Axle exhaust kit allows you to install the axle-back of your choice. You can keep the stock mufflers for a mild sound or go with a set of muffler deletes for a wild sound. The choice is up to you.

Durable Construction. Heartthrob uses free-flowing 3" diameter CNC mandrel bent aluminized tubing with a merged X crossover and high flow straight-thru Flowpack mufflers to improve exhaust flow to provide a significant increase in power and sound.

Application. This Heartthrob Flowpack X-Pipe Kit is designed to fit the 2011-2014 GT Mustangs with either the stock exhaust manifolds or aftermarket shorty style headers installed.

Will this require a tune to not have a CEL(check engine light)? I am wanting to keep from having a tune on my car until it is out of warranty.


  • this is a after cap kit and should not through a code of any kind. i went a step further and completely took off my cats and still have not seen a code yet =)

    cheap, effective , simple

    These literally should be oem equipment for our 5.0 stangs.. The product itself is not perfect as you can take from the other reviews. I do recommend the buy and especially for the price you get so much. I did not get a dyno after installing these i wish i did. But i have had numerous track days on these and they are perfect. You get the power without the noise. Do not expect a beast it is SLIGHTLY louder than stock. To most not noticeable. You get the true deep tuned tone, how oem should ve been. Mpg increased marginally about 1 mpg city less than 2 highway but the power is real obviously. Small gains but per dollar via horsepower it pays dividends. Btw i ran these with everything oem axle back and all. Upgraded to mbrp 3in catback to match. Combo fit together was ok at best but beware fit on these is quote the coin flip. I ordered a set that literally wouldn't go on.. Luckily AM assisted me 100% and had me an entire new set with perfect welds & lengths 7.8/10 overall

    good if u want street legal volume

    so they substituted the straight pipe kit with this 1 and the volume of the types are a lot less than what I was hoping. the horsepower and torque gains are noticeable as now its 3" all the way down I have the pipes axle back pipe bomb and it sounds really nice but still too quiet for what I wanted
