Draining Reservoir & Adding Fluid Instructions:

This method is best used for refreshing or adding any new power steering additives to help protect your steering system. If your fluid is contaminated, dirty, and extremely dark in color a complete system flush is required. I would suggest if you do not have any experience in flushing a power steering system to bring it to a dealership to be service prior to adding any additives or conditioning fluids to the system.

1. Open hood and locate power steering fluid reservoir.

2. Remove reservoir cap.

3. Place gear pump inside reservoir.

4. Pump out and remove as much fluid as possible in an empty bottle or container.

5. Place funnel inside reservoir and fill to the middle of “MIN” & “MAX” Fill Lines

6. Start Vehicle.

7. Add more fluid until level is at “MAX” Fill Line.

8. Turn steering wheel to the left and then right.

9. Replace reservoir cap.

10. Close hood and test drive vehicle.
