      Description

      Upgrade Your Braking System. The 1999 Cobra/1994 GT Master Cylinder is designed to provide better performance than the stock master cylinder in your 1987 to 1993 5.0 Mustang. With its larger bore, the flow of brake fluid is increased, which improves braking. However, if you are going to upgrade your master cylinder, you are going to need the Maximum Motorsports 1999 Cobra/1994 GT Master Cylinder Manual Brake Installation Kit. This kit is compatible with vacuum power boosters and proportioning valve eliminators.

      Benefits of this Kit. Included in this kit are new brake hard lines that you will need because the location of your new master cylinder will differ from the location of your stock cylinder. These lines are pre-bent for your convenience. You will also get a T-fitting that enables you to connect the new 2-port master cylinder to your Mustang’s 3-inlet brake system.

      Direct-Fit Installation. This kit is designed to be a direct-fit installation. There is no need to cut or flare your brake lines.

      Tech Recommendation. For optimal performance, it is recommended that you also install an adjustable proportioning valve, which is not included in this kit. This kit is also required when converting to manual brakes.

      Application. Maximum Motorsports’ 1999 Cobra/1994 GT Master Cylinder Manual Brake Installation Kit fits 1987 to 1993 5.0L Ford Mustangs.
