Description
Softies Aren't Goodies. Especially when the softies are the factory rear lower control arm bushings in your 1999-2004 Ford Mustang Cobra. Made from rubber, driving in any sort of spirited way causes the bushings to deflect, which stresses the rest of your suspension causing wheel hop and poor handling performance. Specifically designed for the Cobra's IRS suspension, replacing the soft factory bushings with the Maximum Motorsports Urethane Differential Bushings will immediately improve the handling of your Mustang.
Polyurethane Strength. In order to create these bushings, Maximum Motorsports analyzed the IRS system in the Cobra and then manufactured these differential bushings as a set. Made from nearly indestructible polyurethane, they include heavy duty metal reinforcements like stainless steel custom fit shims and thick-walled aluminum crush sleeves which makes them even stronger.
Simple Installation. Replacing your factory bushings with these is a fairly simple, straightforward process. Maximum Motorsports created this kit with all the parts you need as well as including bushing removal tools and a tab straightening cup.
No Warranty. Most parts manufactured by Maximum Motorsports are specifically intended for off-road or competitive use, and are sold without warranty.
