Muscle Car Rumble. This free flowing MBRP XP-Series Mid Pipe for your 2011-2013+ 5.0-powered GT not only increases power, but it also adds a deep muscle car rumble to the sound of your exhaust with its classic "H" crossover pipe design.

Reuses Stock Cats. The installation of the MBRP XP-Series H-Pipe does not require any cutting or welding, it just installs in place of the stock H-Pipe. And best of all it reuses the factory catalytic converters saving you money.

Durable Stainless Steel Construction. Mandrel-bent from 3" diameter T409 stainless steel tubing for strength and corrosion resistance, this MBRP H-Pipe will improve exhaust flow and last a lifetime.

Required Upgrade. This 3" to 3" Mid Pipe requires the use of an aftermarket 3" catback exhaust system, as the factory catback is too small at only 2.75".

Application. This MBRP XP-Series high flow H-Pipe is designed to fit the 2011-2014 GT with either the stock exhaust manifolds or aftermarket shorty style headers installed, along with a 3" catback exhaust system.

      Q:Can this H-Pipe be paired with a MBRP axle-back exhaust set-up? Instead of what the description says which is a cat-back exhaust.

      Would these work with magnaflow high flow cats? I’m asking because the piping is 3 inches as well

      • This mid-pipe is designed to work with the factory catalytic converters

      Does this eliminate the factory resonators?

      • Unfortunately this will not eliminate the resonators. I had them cut out by an exhaust shop.

      This will fit long tubes if they bolt to the stock mud pipe right?

      • This will only fit the factory manifold or shorty headers.

      Would this fit a BOSS 302? I’m aware that I would be removing the side exhaust.

      • Unfortunately this will not fit the 12-13 Boss 302 models. This h-pipe will only fit 11-14 Mustang GT models.

          2011 H pipe

          I am very happy with the H pipe.I installed a cat back with it.I was surprised how easy it was to install! Getting the old one off was more difficult. Wow when you lay into the peddle,awesome sound. At idle and cruising speed it’s good,not to much drone.

          Love it

          This is my second S197 5.0 my first I had a pypes x on it. Just like everyone says to get. I didn't like it as much. I didn't like the raspyness. The H I love alot more. The install is pretty straight forward other than the junk Ford bolts holding the factory stuff on. My car only had 34k miles but these things where just barely hanging on due to rust. I had to improvise some hardware as a temp fix unfortunately. No fault of MBRP. As for the sound, I need to swap mufflers I have the Ford performance mufflers which are nice but doesn't give me the tone I'm looking for but she's nice and deep and coupled with no cats sounds fantastic. I did a few things when I did the H so it took me longer than normal.

          Great purchase

          Doesnt make it very much louder but I paired with roush axlebacks and it really improves lower rpms exhaust note. Only took maybe 2 hours to install with Jack's, stands, and proper tools

          Great sound for great price

          I paired this h-pipe with the MBRP Installer race series cat-back exhaust and I cannot be happier with the outcome of the sound. Has a great exhaust note and loud.

          Good sound

          Nice crackles when you back off the throttle. I have my cats still in the car and have ford racing touring mufflers. every thing else is stock. Gives me a nice muscle cars sound but not the crazy race car sound and drone. Can still drive by the cops on the way to the grocery store.

          GOOD DEEP TONE

          Makes the car a lot deeper and more aggressive sounding...but i think it actually made mine not as loud because of that lower note. Kinda upset i spend this much money on it and it did not even make the car louder...if you wanna be heard go with off road, cut those cats off cause this wont do it.

          The Sound I Want

          The exhausted coupled with MBRP's street cat back gave me the perfect low rumble I wanted for the classic muscle sound. When you open it up, it howls without the raspy sound an x-pipe would give. Yet when I want, it can be quiet and cruise worthy without the drone. Top notch product, great price, and always the shipping times are fantastic.

          MBRP H-pipe

          Fast shipping as always. Good fit and finish! Just be sure to read the directions when installing with an aftermarket cat-back. It tell you to trim your mid pipes in this case my mbrp race cat-back for proper fitment. Other than that it gives a nice deep classic muscle car rumble you should expect from a mustang.

          Great sounding addition!!!!!

          I bought the H-pipe cause it's more deep sounding and I got exactly what I was looking for I bought this and put the Pypes cat back super system on at the local exhaust shop and the guys were going crazy over the sound also the guy when i went to the dyno wanted to get some video cause they never heard a new GT with that aggressive of a sound. So it's well worth the money if you want a deep tone compared to the X-pipe raspy high pitch sound!!!!
