How to Install a Metco Motorsports Auxillary Idler Pulley Kit - Double Bearing on your 2007-2014 Mus

Note to Installer: All work should be performed on a suitable, level surface. The negative battery cable should be disconnected while this installation is performed.

• Depress the tensioner arm for the supercharger drive and remove the belt from the supercharger pulley.
• Remove the three bolts from locations A, B & C as shown in Picture 1. Do not remove the two bolts identified as 'D' in Picture 1.
• The three stand-offs fit the back side of the idler bracket plate and mount to bolt locations A, B & C. Apply blue Loctite to the ends of the provided M6
x 90mm socket-lieaTiFstehers7and slide each bolt through the bracket and through the provided bracket standoffs. Tighten these bolts securely, but use caution not to overtighten.
• Install the supercharger belt, and confirm that there is adequate clearance for the belt at location E as shown in Picture 2. As shipped, the pulley is mounted in this position that works best in most applications. If insufficient clearance exists, the idler bracket can be removed and the pulley mount repositioned outward (higher) on the bracket.
