Review & Installation Video

Review & Install Video

We've all been there before, driving behind someone on the road who was oblivious to the fact that their blinker's been on for the last five miles. It's even more frustrating when you realize you're that person. Well now thanks to this one touch turn signal conversion kit, you'll never have to worry about being that guy ever again. What this kit does is allows you to touch or tap your turn signal lever without fully engaging it. At that point, your turn signal will then flash 6 times, and then shut off automatically. Now you do have the option of programming this kit to flash anywhere between 2 and 8 times, all depending on your preference. This kit is perfect for the times when you just need to signal a lane change or you're merging on or off freeway ramps. This kit will not affect your normal turn-signal performance when the lever is fully engaged. The install does require a small amount of wiring, so just make sure you're comfortable with that before getting started. Now when you open the package you will find all the wire nuts, and quick-splice connectors necessary to do the job, however, if you have access to a soldering gun, I'd recommend using that just to ensure a very strong connection. Either way, getting everything installed should only take you about an hour. Speaking from experience, there's nothing worse than cruising down the highway, only to look down and realize your turn signal's been on since who knows when. So if you want to eliminate the chance of that happening to you, check out this one touch turn signal conversion, right here at AmericanMuscle.com.

Convenient One-Touch Feature. Now when changing lanes or getting on or off freeway ramps, you can just simply "touch" and release the turn signal lever, the signal will flash 6 times, then quit automatically. So you no longer have to worry about your turn signal blinking for miles annoying other drivers because you forgot to turn it off.

Programmable. When activated the turn signal will flash 6 times, but can be programmed to flash from 2 to 8 times to match your specific driving habits.

Application. This Axial One-Touch Turn Signal Kit is designed to fit all 2010 to 2014 Mustangs, including the V6, GT and Shelby GT500 models.

    Should come stock.

This should come stock on any and every car out there. Makes life so much easier. Very easy to program. Installation is a little difficult as the instructions are not 100% clear. The website has full color diagrams, which made life a whole lot easier to install. It is a little hard to get to the panel and unclip the right cables, but the frustration is totally worth it in the end.

    Nice additional feature

I am Service Manager for a FORD dealer and scheptical about aftermarket parts. This component was install easily inside 25 minutes and works great. We soldered all the connections instead of using the Scotch Locs that were supplied, but it was still an fairly easy install. I have set it to 4 flashes and will recommend to friends and customers. Matter of fact I am ordering one today for a customer.

I had a BMW 335I that came with this feature and I loved it. But I did not like the BMW breaking down all the time. Got my Stang instead. First thing I noticed is the GT did not have this feature. Then I saw this on AM and I immediately purchased. Had my Daughter help me since I'm color blind to many colors. Took about 1.5 Hours. I even cut some wrong wires and had to reconnect them OOPS!!! But finally I was done (And it works perfectly). Once you have this feature it's hard to be without it. Just get it! You will love it!

    One-Touch Trun Signal 2014 GT500

Product works well once installed however, for the 2014 GT500, when you disconnect C2280b and C2280a, the HID's, running lights, license plate lights all come on...I pulled Fuses 26 & 27 in engine bay to at least shut HIDs off while making 1st 4 connections. When you take second harness out there was a clicking like a clock relay so I kept harness plugged in and just made last 2 splices with harness in. A tad of a PITA, but once in works great. Not sure why Ford didn't add this as a standard function. My 2012 Raptor has this and WOW going without it is a pain, so from that point a very nice solutions. All the parts were included, and the instructions were good as well. NOTE: The C2280b is tricky to unclip. There is a little black button that allows a gray rocker clip to be pulled backwords to disengage the harness.

    Cool gadget!

Hey there's nothing worse than an uncompleted sequence! Install was easy, good directions, programs and works as described. You can change the number of blinks very easily with a sequence of key and turn signal movements (when programming you learn that the green dash indicator goes out right when the sequence ends). I find this feature especially useful when changing lanes while checking for blind spot traffic, shifting, and talking on the phone. Tap it and forget it. I've seen this as a standard feature in an '06 Mercedes R500, so if it's good enough for them...

    Great addition to OEM

Many times you only need your signal on for a few flashes, just to inform others of your intent. This item is fantastic; set it to what your preference is for number of flashes and just a slight tap on the signal arm sets it in motion. Allows both hands on the wheel, not having to turn the signal off manually when not turning enough to operate the cancel mode. Easily installed; I do recommend soldering the connections for a better connection. Great product, would not be without it.

One Touch Turn Signal- works just great

This switch installed juat as easy as the instructions indicated. It took me about 1 hour. Once it was installed and I verified it was working correctly, I replaced the twist-on connectors with insulated barrel connectors. Now the wires & connections fit nicely back into wire harness tubing for a much more manufacturer looking installation. I'm thinking of getting one to put in my F-150 as I really like this option and was used to it in my other cars.

    Works fine.

Simple install. I soldered & shrink wrapped all my connections. If you have no electronics skills or have reservations about cutting into your vehicles harness, I'd defer installation to someone more capable. Easy to program and works great.

Easy to install, nice to have one touch signals now

This is a pretty easy install as long as you follow the instructions on the website and take your time. Works just as advertised and very easy to program the number of signal flashes. One word of caution. After completing the install and during testing, my shifter would not come out of park and my trunk ajar light would not turn off. I went into the Smart Junction Box, reseated all the plugs and the fuses for the trunk light and integrated parking brake/shift function. Everything worked fine after that. Once again, a really nice product from AM!

    One Touch Turn Signal

After driving several rental/lease cars in Europe (which all had one touch) I wanted this on my 2011 Mustang. This is good to use for lane changes. Easy to use.

    Something was missing, Not anymore!

Looking at the instructions (the ones provided online were MUCH better) made me feel the install was going to be difficult, Once I took the car apart (5 minutes) I found all the correct plugs, removed them as instructed and I was able to determine the correct wiring and complete the install in about 20 minutes. TWO NOTES, in my car (2011 GT CONV) the black wire that is in the las step was black with a white stripe, and after working on cars for years, I'd NEVER use wire nuts, Solderless terminals were in order, four red butt splice terminals will work better than wire nuts.

    A breeze to install

On my 2012 V6 Premium, I did NOT have to remove the door sill and kick panel on the passenger side. The wiring box had an easily removable access panel. Installation took less than 45 minutes and it works GREAT! That being said, you DO have to be very bendy in order to get at the wiring harnesses and you'll need a flashlight to see what you're doing. Keep in mind also that when some of these wiring harnesses are disconnected, your daytime running lights may be on, so you may not want to walk away in the middle of this project or you could kill your battery.

One touch turn signals are easy to install

Installation time is about (30) minutes. Panel popper is recommended for removing door sill. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. But, don't try and look for the colored wiring. Several sets of nearly the same colors and they are bundled together. Look at the connector block and locate the number ie., 41, 42 etc. to find correct wire. No mistakes, and it's faster. Programming is simple and the lights work perfect.

    Works good, but HARD INSTALL

I'm pretty handy, have done most of my mods myself. I'm also pretty small, so I can fit into tight spaces. Which makes me question all of the reviews here that say 'easy install' or '20 minutes time'. WRONG. This is a HARD install. I had to remove the passenger seat to create enough space to get to these wires. Clipping/slicing/soldering in a tight space, upside down, is NOT and easy install. Add to that that my module apparently had an issue, where I had to switch the Red and Pink wires - per the manufacturer. Add also, that there are TWO Gray/Yellow wires for automatic transmission Mustangs, and, of course, I chose the wrong one. Not fun re-doing things again, numerous times. Needless to say, it works good now, but I would not do it again for the pain I went through. That being said, the manufacturer (WebElectricProducts.com) and American Muscle helped me, and for that I am thankful.

Installation was a breeze, kind of in a tight area, but very easy install. Works just the way that it should. Ford should have put this in from the factory.

    A must have

I am very big on using turn signals and in some of my cars I had the one touch blink option for lane changes, and got used to it and loved it. This is a very simple product to install and once you have it you will never want to be without. I did buy 4 of these and 2 were dead out of the box, so not sure if there was a bad run or if they are just poor quality. So with that said, if it doesn't work, just make sure all your wiring is done properly and if so, you have a DOA unit.
