      Description

      Restore Precise Valve Timing. This complete timing chain kit replaces worn chain, guides, and tensioners to eliminate slack and restore factory timing accuracy. A loose or stretched chain can cause rattles, erratic idle, and potential engine damage; installing this kit restores quiet operation and precise cam phasing under boost.

      OEM-Quality Components for Longevity. The high-strength alloy chain resists elongation, and the dual-roller design reduces friction. Guide rails are made from wear-resistant polymer, while tensioners use factory-style hydraulics for consistent chain tension through temperature changes and revs.

      Installation. Professional installation required: align engine to TDC, remove front cover, swap in the new chain, rails, sprockets, and tensioners with supplied seals and gaskets, then reassemble and torque all fasteners to factory specs.

      Application. The OPR Timing Chain Kit fits 2007–2012 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 5.4-liter supercharged engines.
