Pypes Catted X-Pipe (98-04 Mustang V6)

Awesome Performance. Upgrade your V6 Mustang’s power and torque with a Catted X-Pipe from Pypes. Your Mustang’s stock mid-pipe design is on the restrictive side, producing inefficient exhaust gas flow. This X-pipe’s free-flowing design improves exhaust gas flow, giving you a bump in both power and torque.

Throaty and Audacious Exhaust Growl. The Pypes Catted X-Pipe is also designed to give your Mustang an exhaust sound that matches its muscular style. With this X-pipe installed on your vehicle, you get a sound that starts as a throaty low-rumble during idling that explodes into a raspy mid-range growl when you step on the gas. Additionally, your new exhaust sound, while brashier, isn’t off-putting, so you don’t have to worry about waking up your neighbors.

Includes High-Flow Catalytic Converters. The Pypes Catted X-Pipe features a pair of high-flow cats that replaces your stock cats. These high-flow catalytic converters are a great match to the X-pipe’s free-flowing design. Also, these catalytic converters have a high platinum load producing lower emissions.

Sturdy Build Quality. The Pypes Catted X-Pipe is fabricated from high-grade, 2.50-inch wide, 409 stainless steel tubing for durability and corrosion resistance. Each X-pipe tubing is completely mandrel-bent adding rigidity and eliminating turbulence producing areas. Moreover, the included catalytic converters are constructed from 304 stainless steel and come with a factory-style ceramic substrate.

Application. The Pypes Catted X-Pipe fits all 1998-2004 V6 Ford Mustang models.

Application Note. Installing the Pypes Catted X-Pipe will require a re-tune to your ECU since you will be changing your vehicle’s catalytic converters.
