If i want to switch over to a square tip exhaust like this, the only thing I'll need to change to make it fit is the rear valence correct?

  • That's correct! All you would need to install the Roush Square Tip Axle-Back Exhaust on a 11-12 V6 is the Roush Rear Valance installed.

Can I use this Roush Square tip axle exhaust on my v6 and use my own tips, and make it fit in hole on stock valance?

  • The Roush Square Tip Axle-Back Exhaust is designed for use of their valence, however, as long as your tips are the correct size, and in the correct location, your own exhaust tips could fit, however, that would be a custom installation at that point.

square tips with stock valence will this fit with the stock rear valence? really prefer the square design, but cant afford the roush valence at this time

  • Will not fit with stock valance because the square tips dont come straight out like the round one do. Kinda diagonal but you can cut to fit but I dont recommend it

    Great Roar

The Roush square tip axle back exhaust creates the perfect amount of loudness when accelerating and delivers such a great roar and rumble when starting up it will give you chills. The square tips gives your stang a much more aggressive look along with the Roush square tip rear valence. Great buy and I highly recommend.

    incredible change for a v6

I couldn't stand having a mustang and not having a roar when I turned on my car. Ever since I put my new exhaust on. I'm gonna keep it. Plus really sets off my dub edition considering it already had some equipment from rousch. Can't wait to keep adding on to my mustang! Appreciate everything americanmuscle does for the mustang community.

    Nice upgrade from stock

My Mustang sounded really good, not too loud and not too soft. The exhaust note could have been a little deeper though. I turned a lot of heads after I had it installed, and got a lot of compliments. It got atleast 2-3 more mpg. There was a bit of drone, but it didn't bother me much...if I wanted something quiet I would have gotten a prius.

Great deep sound and the tips look amazing

I installed these with someone else but can be done with one person. I have zero knowledge when it comes to installing parts and this was extremely easy to do! The hardest part is putting the axleback and connecting them to the tubes. First time I started my car, my heart probably skipped a beat with happiness haha, there is no drone except from 60-62 mph and then it's gone, driving around town is completely fine and deep but after 3k they start to scream in a good way. Expect pops and gurgles and depending on the tune they will do it more. I drive on the interstate often and with 3:31 gears going 85 mph they don't sound overpowering or bad at all, barely turn up some music and theyre completely gone.

    V6 or V8

These exhaust have really helped me stand out from the rest of the v6 heard. I really love the deep gurgle sound from this exhaust. I have noticed gains in horsepower and gas mileage. I also have the Airaid intake and they work well together. I would suggest that you get a tune after the install because I have noticed a small lag time when I really hit the gas but nothing major. It only took the shop that installed them about an hour and cost me $158 because I also have the Roush rear valance...... People who dont know alot about stangs wont even believe its a V6 after you install these bad boys.

    Oh they're definitely loud enough...

Put the full Roush exhaust system on including the valence and it came out looking great! Install did not take very long as it used stock hangers and mounts. Can really be heard between 2-4k rpm in 2nd and 3rd. More road noise than expected and makes a long cruise kind of mind numbing if you don't have the radio up. Overall a great buy!
