For 8 quarts the price is good. RP has been around for awhile and their products are really good. I've had zero issues with their oil, both engine and rear end, power steering, coolant additive and so on.Helpful (3)

I bought 6 quarts of royal purple motor oil after reading up on the brand, description, details American muscle gives and other fellow mustang owners comments have written about the product. After putting royal purple in my v6 I totally felt the difference while driving the car everything feels so smooth. Besides the royal purple motor oil i bought royal purple's max ez power steering fluid i am really enjoying the big difference it's given my mustang I recommend 6 quarts of it. It's worth it.Helpful (2)
How many quarters do I need for my 2010 Mustang GT/paxtonS2200 supercharger??
The 2010 GT will use 6 quarts of oil. Oil increase with your supercharger will be approximately 1/4 quart to 1/2 quart for engine oil fed superchargers.
How long does 8 quarts last on 5.0 2013? (65,000 Miles)
We recommend using Ford's oil change interval no matter which oil you use. A 2013 Mustang GT should have a 7500 mile change interval, but we recommend checking the manual to determine your change interval under your driving conditions.
How many quarts of oil will a '95 5.0l take in (oil capacity)?
You will need right around 6 quarts of oil to fill your car up with oil.
How many quarts of oil will a '95 5.0l take in?
Your car will take around 6 quarts of oil.
How many quarts do I need for a 14 gt?
The 11-14 models will require 8 quarts of Royal Purple 5w30 Motor Oil.
You can use this oil in your EcoBoost Mustang.
You won't have any issues with 5w30 no.
We recommend sticking with the Royal Purple 5w20 Motor Oil, as the oil passages inside of your engine are unaffected, oil viscosity should remain the same.
Your car would be able to take either fully or semi-synthetic oil. However, if you go with full you will need to stay with full synthetic and not change back to semi.
The Royal Purple 5w30 Motor Oil will be the ideal oil for your Mustang, being the correct oil weight and one of the best full synthetic oils on the market. There are no issues changing from standard oil to synthetic.
For a 2004 V6 Mustang, the Royal Purple 5w30 Motor Oil would be incorrect. You would want the Royal Purple 5w20 Motor Oil linked below: https://www.americanmuscle.com/royal-purple-5w20-motor-oil.html
Both oils would not be a problem in your car, however we typically go with the 5w30. Ultimately we would say go with whatever your owners manual calls for the best bet!
Ford recommends using 5w20 in the 2007 Mustang GTs.
Absolutely this is top quality. Only stuff I use. Highly recommend. I even use it for my dirt bikes. Anything with an engine
I've been using Royal Purple in my GT for quite some time. I have 106k and running strong and clean. I change it every 3000. All my fluids is from Royal Purple (from engine to rearend). I've been using 5w30 and will never use anything else. I think Royal Purple is second to Amsoil (just too expensive).
