Description
Aggressive Use Clutch Kit. Designed for race use, this ACT Organic Twin Disc MaXX XT Street Clutch Kit with 26 Spline disc features dual discs for the utmost in performance from your Corvette. Engage in lightning-quick shifts on your way to crossing the finish line first with this clutch kit installed.
High-Torque Performance. This clutch can handle 1,169 foot-pounds torque at the flywheel, true to its racing designation. A heavy to the very heavy pedal effort is expected, with mild to moderate gear rattle and a smooth engagement.
Constructed for Racing. With its twin disc design, this clutch kit is designed for better heat dissipation, quick engagement, and long life. The organic discs have a high copper content for better heat transfer and steel-backed lining for strength. To ensure durability, the hub is heat-treated chromoly while the diaphragm goes through four-stage heat treatment.
Meets SFI Specifications. This clutch kit is rated 1.2 by the SFI so it will perform well under the rigors of motorsports.
Covered by a 1-Year Warranty. The manufacturer's 1-year warranty covers this clutch kit from defects in manufacture and materials. More information on the warranty policy can be seen on the manufacturer's website.
Comes with a Flywheel. A lightened flywheel is included in the kit for quicker shifting and acceleration. The flywheel is CNC-machined and computer balance for even better performance.
Application. This ACT Organic Twin Disc MaXX XT Street Clutch Kit with a 26-Spline Disc will fit all 1997-2013 Corvette C5 and C6 Models, Excluding ZR1.
