Description
Carbon Fiber Hood Replacement. The Anderson Composites Type-T2 Hood made from 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth is engineered to provide a lightweight, strong replacement hood for Camaro enthusiasts focused on performance. It improves vehicle cooling with larger functional center and side vents, presenting an aggressive design inspired by the 2019-2023 SS style. This hood is ideal for reducing weight while maintaining durability and a high-quality finish.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. Manufactured using a vacuum-infused process, this hood features a uniform carbon fiber weave pattern for superior stiffness and strength. It is coated with a marine-grade gel coat including UV inhibitors, and polished to a high-gloss finish that protects against environmental damage and enhances visual appeal.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. The hood mounts directly to the vehicle using original equipment (OE) hardware, which is not included. Minor adjustments may be necessary during fitment; however, no drilling is typically required to install the hood properly.
