I WAS WONDERING IF DONT HAVE AN EXHAUST ON MY MUSTANG HOW LOUD WILL IT BE IF INSTALL THESES CAMS AND HOW MUCH HP WPULD IT GAIN

Anonymous

  • It would be absurdly loud and you would most likely lose horsepower due to a lack of back-pressure of having no exhaust. The cams would do nothing to help this.

how much the MPG's will be affected using this camshafts?

mikemf8

  • These Comp Cams Stage 1 XFI NSR Camshafts do have not an EPA rating for fuel economy, so it would be difficult to provide an accurate mpg rating. Additionally, the nature in which the vehicle will be driven will ultimately affecting the mpg your vehicle gets.

What is the difference between these, and the ones that are meant for blower applications?

CodyB

  • The Comp Cams Stage 1 XFI NSR Camshafts designed for Naturally Aspirated engines will utilize different specs, than the blower cams. A Blower cam will typically reduce overlap for use in a supercharged application, while making lift more aggressive. This is due to the inherent differences between a supercharged and naturally aspirated engine.

raul

  • The Comp Cams Stage 1 XFI NSR Camshafts will give the car a slightly lopey sound, which will imitate that of a classic muscle car.

What a difference. Very happy with install and performance. Works great with manifold intakes

This item was semi simple to install. Took almost a day. After installed and tested what a notice in the sound. I knew that this product was going to be a good mod. After driving it and taking it for a spin wow just wow, the amount of power is amazing.
