        Comp Cams Stage 2 review

Hi, If you have all the bolt-ons possible, then you need those cams. Great power, yes installation is not that simple but it's rewarding with good power. Don't expect a cam loop sound because it doesn't change the sound at all.

2 2012 GT - Marky Installation Time: Weekend

Do not buy,not worth the price.

I installed these myself in a weekend.I was expecting a pretty good lope and some performance gains.Well no lope at all(sounds like stock) and very little performance gain. I have a custom tune. Tuner says you have to dumb the car up(lose performance everywhere) to get it to lope with these. I would spend money on something else before buying these again.

would like to know about 1/4 mile times not horsepower as i bought aboss302 manifold and lost 2 tenths of a second mine is a2013 mustang

      • Hello! We are unable to provide solid numbers of how much time you would shave off in the quarter mile because so many different factors affect this, such as the aggressiveness of the tune, the temperature, and other accompanying modifications. You would definitely see an improvement in your times though!

What comp cam works best with a Paxton 2200 SL supercharger with full bolt-on’s

      • You'll be looking for a blower cam. Blower cams have less overlap and are pretty different from a cam for a naturally aspirated application. A Stage 1 or 2 maybe depending on the particular 2200 SL kit you have (complete or tuner kit on a modded setup). A custom dyno tune will be needed to carefully calibrate the computer, and an especially careful one will be needed for blower cams on forced induction applications. Please chat with the shop that'll be writing your particular tune to double check to see about which blower cam would work best for your individual application while keeping the motor healthy. Blower cams on a forced induction application makes a ton of power, and with how close you are on that 2200 SL kit, you will need to be very careful about your selection.

Hey a got a 2014 5.0 I got long tube headers x-pipe, 3:73 gears, automatic, tuned by Lund my question is which one is better for my set up stage 2 or stage 3, what’s the difference?

      • For your application, we would advise to reach out directly to your tuner, Lund in this case, as to which setup would go best with the operation of your vehicle.

Can i drop these in my 2014 ford f150 5.0l without additional components other that exhaust intake and tune?

      • You will need the cam phaser limiter kit along with the tune to run these cams.
