Ok, so. Im trying to get a set of cams that will compliment my other mods. I have a auto trans with 3.55 gears else id go for stage 3 cams. But in terms of mods, i have a BBK 1-3/4in long tubes, BBK catted midpipe and borla s-type GT500 catback. Im going to be getting these along with teh cobra jet intake manifold set up. I know that intake mani gives power above 7k, and these are mid to upper RPM. So, would these be a nice help or do i need cams that work only in the upper RPMs like the intake mani does? Im sorry i know that was kind of a loaded question haha

Would these work with the 2015 mustang gt? And do they give that old school muscle car chop?

would like to know about 1/4 mile times not horsepower as i bought aboss302 manifold and lost 2 tenths of a second mine is a2013 mustang

    • Hello! We are unable to provide solid numbers of how much time you would shave off in the quarter mile because so many different factors affect this, such as the aggressiveness of the tune, the temperature, and other accompanying modifications. You would definitely see an improvement in your times though!

Are these too aggressive for daily driving with full bolt ons? I have 3.73 gears also.

    Reece

    • Hey Reece, These cams should actually be perfect for a street car set up with full bolt-ons. It only requires a new computer tune and phaser limiters to be properly installed. But as a kit it is directly suited for a full bolt on set up who isn't going supercharged but still wants more power out of the car.

What if I decided to install a supercharger later do I have to return the factory cams or is it ok to use these???

    AbdulazizKSA

    • With the Comp Cams Stage 2 XFI NSR Camshafts, your tuner should be able to compensate for the camshafts if a supercharger is installed at a later time, so the stock camshafts will not need to be used.

HP of theese cams Whats the hp increase of these cams

    crsquirrely

    • The answer to this is not as simple as "it makes or it will give each you". As my brother has described to me in the past they can't give a specific hp rating because it all depends on the tune and what all has been done to the motor or car

      Comp Cams Stage 2 review

Hi, If you have all the bolt-ons possible, then you need those cams. Great power, yes installation is not that simple but it's rewarding with good power. Don't expect a cam loop sound because it doesn't change the sound at all.

Do not buy,not worth the price.

I installed these myself in a weekend.I was expecting a pretty good lope and some performance gains.Well no lope at all(sounds like stock) and very little performance gain. I have a custom tune. Tuner says you have to dumb the car up(lose performance everywhere) to get it to lope with these. I would spend money on something else before buying these again.
