Supercharger Would it be ok to run these before I put my supercharger on?

        • Yes, but just make sure you re tune after you install them , and retune after you install the Supercharger . Just don't expect any super gains until you install the supercharger, since the cams are made for one .

Will these cams work with stock pistons? Or will valve relief pistons be required?

        • Valve relief pistons would be required.

Did a little research, Power I'm looking to get supercharged (900-1200hp) with a recommended 2.7ish diff (not 3.73) this other site suggested, do you have any cams I can install before getting the Supercharger installed but something that is geared towards 3.31 gears since these are not recommended unless you do have 3.73?

        • If you're looking to get upwards of 900+ HP, this will require likely some custom work, definitely building on top of an existing supercharger. Any and all performance upgrades on top of a supercharger will require a new tune, so with that we would suggest to speak with your tuner directly upon any and all performance upgrades for your supercharged Mustang. This is both due to the reason that, what will and will not work will 100% depend on the tunes written for your application, and due to the fact that, at this point, your tuner will know what to suggest relative to their tunes for your application, to get you the best gains possible.

Can you help me figure out if these will fit my FGX XR8 (in Aus) 2015 model factory supercharged coyote 5.0?

        • These have not been tested for fitment on the AU models.

I see for the N/A comp stage 3 cams you “need 3.73 or higher gears” so 1: why do you “need” those? I have 3.55 now and don’t want to have to buy another set of gears and another install. 2: since these are the blower cams I wanna run these bc I will go that rout in the future and I’d like to run these cams now (FBO) and then get the SC but will I need the steeper gears for the blower cams? Sorry for the paragraph

        • Due to the RPM range and power the cams are designed for, they work best with 3.73 or higher gear ratios. While these can be used with 3.55's, they will not perform as intended by Comp Cams. These cams can be used on a N/A motor, but power gains and performance will not be ideal, as the profile is designed specifically for a supercharged engine.

OK, so not expecting any "super gains" while installing these cams prior to a S/C, what gains could one expect to see? Ballpark, I won't hold you to any hard numbers. 1 answer

            Awesome cams

Nice power gain over stock. Work well with Roush blower. Sound good at idle. I had my shop install these while my motor was out of car and getting rebuilt with forged bottom end.

Had no problem like not having to buy 32 springs keepers and the rest.

            You want a Loop idle?

My wife bought this cam for her 2014 mustang gt. She had me install a S/C on her car few weeks back. The cam helped gain max HP out of the super charger.
