Materials in the box:

-One Eibach sway bar
-4 bolts
-4 nuts

Tools Needed:

- One jack and two jack stands.
- One 9/16 wrench and 15mm wrench.
-One socket wrench with 9/16 socket and 15mm socket.
-Torque wrench is advisable, but not necessary.

Installation Instructions:

1. Jack up the car and safely put the car on jack stands. Be sure the car is secure, and will not roll.

2. Locate the bolts that need to be taken off in order to drop the stock sway bar. The bolts are located in the middle of the lower control arms just behind the tire. You may remove the tires if you wish, but this is optional. Removing the tires will allow easy access to the bolts, but you may also go under the car to loosen them too. I personally did not remove the tires.

3. Put something under the stock sway bar to support it, so it does not fall on you or the ground before you start to loosen the bolts.

4. Take your socket wrench with a 15mm socket, and loosen the bolts to the stock sway bar. On the driver side, the rear bolt is right next to a brake line, this is where your 15mm wrench is a good idea, you may use your socket wrench, but a wrench works better here.

5. Now that the stock sway bar is loose, take it out and admire the difference between the wimpy stock sway bar, and the new beefy Eibach piece of art.

7. Simply take the new sway bar and carefully line it up with the holes and place the new bolts in to hold the bar up. You may want to have a friend help you, or put a piece of cardboard under you in case you drop it. Be careful not to drop the bar on your face.

8. Use your fingers (or a wrench) to carefully place the nut over the bolts and slowly turn the bolt to mate the two. Be careful not to put them on wrong as it could strip the nut and bolt.

9. Take your 9/16 wrench and 9/16 socket and tighten up the bolts to 33-51ft lbs (resource Chilton’s Manual).

10.
Put your tires back on if you took them off, and safely lower your fox body.

11. Admire the new looks of your awesome new sway bar and take her for a test drive!!!!!
