Gear Ratio. The 5.13 gear ratio of this G2 Performance Series Set provides the ability to enjoy better performance without sacrificing fuel economy. Enjoy the peace of mind that this upgrade won't send you straight to the fuel pump.
Sturdy Steel. G2 uses 8620 steel for stiff, reliable Ring Gear and Pinions. The process involves cutting-edge equipment and the latest manufacturing methods. The forged steel is precision-machined to OE specs and heat-treated for maximum durability.
May Require Cress Shaft Mod. Installation of this G2 Differential Gear Pair, which has an 8.8 in. ring gear diameter may involve modification of the cress shaft.
A Pro Move. As installing a Ring Gear and Pinion Kit is unnerving to even racing enthusiasts, we recommend using a professional for the job. A mechanic or service provider can properly install the set, which includes an 8.8 in.-diameter ring gear, within about 4 hours. Once in place, it runs as quietly as factory.
