The G2 Ring Gear and Pinion Kit - 5.13 Gears is a perfect example of this dedication to precision engineering. This setup will fit your Mustang and give you the piece of mind that you need when you are behind the wheel.
Premium Manufacturer. Forged from 8620 steel for durability and strength these gears are then precision machined, utilizing the best in modern equipment, to exacting OEM specifications. The gears have to be machined to tight tolerances so that they will not be noisy or chatter. Next the machined gears are heat treated to temper them to handle the brutal conditions that drivelines go through on a daily basis. to ensure a positive connection and power transmission. The final touch is to have the gears lapped so that their surfaces are smooth which increases the life of the parts.
Installation Notes. The installation of these parts is involved and requires expertise and the proper tools and equipment. If you do not have the expertise, are uncomfortable in attempting this job or do not have the appropriate tools and equipment, it is recommending that you take these parts to a professional and have them do the job.
