      Description

      Perfect Replacement. Thanks to Maximum Motorsports' Solid Manual Steering Shaft Assembly, you'll never have to worry about the sloppy, unresponsive steering setup of your 1979-1993 Mustang ever again. This steering shaft replaces the rubber rag joint to end deflection, and features a telescoping design and welded U-joints that promise a precise and secure fit for maximum performance.

      Ideal Steering Response. By completely eliminating the annoying play in the steering wheel, this steering shaft ensures you get the handling and steering response that you need to optimize your drive. With this steering shaft as an integral part of your steering system, you'll finally be able to get the steering you need to excel on the street and track.

      Telescoping Design. Featuring a telescoping design, this power steering shaft allows for lengthening up to 1 in. over stock for easy repositioning on the steering rack, while the collapsible center allows it to collapse shorter than stock. The shaft also features welded U-joints, which means you won't have to worry about looser setscrews over time.

      Installation. Utilizing the included installation hardware, securing this shaft into place takes about 2 hours. For those with moderate mechanical skills, the installation is fairly straightforward.
