        They just work

Plain and simple, no muss no fuss. They consistently get the job done. Install is also simple, take your time with removing the old plugs and you'll be fine. Out of the box these came gapped between .035 and .040, so unless you're boosted and need them gapped this tight, be sure to set your gap to spec for your particular needs (one of the popular manuals calls for between .040 and .050 for NA 3vs).

5 2010 GT - grimesd Installation Time: Afternoon

        Works as intended!

Bought there plugs for my 10gt. Perfect fit. The only thing i did was gap to .045 as many people suggested is the sweet spot to these cars, I believe they come gapped .038, which I think is the lowest gap for a N/A car. Car started fine, idled smoother then it did before! Took me about 2 hours to do the plugs because of the FORD TSB for plugs. Took my time to insure I didn't break the old ones coming out. Please what ever you do, make sure you have either a strong magnet, very long needle nose pliers, or old rubber gas hose. I used a pair of regular needle nose pliers and had a rough time getting the plugs out of the holes after I got them loose. Just a word of advice. The wells are really deep. As far as performance gain, I can't really comment about that, but definitely a smoother idle in my car. Would definitely recommend these plugs. Just remember, These come pregapped at about .038. I gapped to .045 before installed (recommended by many people) and the car runs really smooth.

        Good plugs for the money

Ordered these plugs from AM after getting the wrong plugs from a local part store. These plugs are good, fit right and were actually cheaper than he first set I got. If you have the brown coil boots these are the plugs for you, they are threaded all the way down unlike the earlier plugs for the black coil boot cars which are much more of pain in the butt to work with. All in all I feel the car runs better after 55k on the original plugs and wouldn't opt for the more expensive NGK's. As always AM was fast and correct with my order and I hope to get some more cool stuff very soon!

        NGK sparke plugs

I love more than the regular sparke plugs , I got more power , efficiency and I saved some money when I bought these plugs . I really recommend these plugs, maybe in the future I will by the other NGK sparke plugs ( the powerful ones ) but for now I think I'm good.

        They are okay...

I did not really notice any difference, the mileage stayed the same, hp may have went down, idle did approve slightly. The old plugs had about 70k on them, Brisk one degree colder. So kinda of disappointed with these plugs but already spent ... dough on them.

        Good tune up

Car was due for a tune up so I got these and the MSD coils. Great products love them both. Not much performance gain cause that's not really what they do but better throttle response. Definitely would recommend both items.

What is the gap supposed to be for these plugs?

      • You will want to gap the plugs to the specification require by Ford for stock applications or you will want to use the gap specified by the persons who tuned your vehicle.

Hi, would like to know if these spark plugs are a one-piece design or a two piece design like to original ford spark plugs that had all the issues?

      • Hi, These Spark plugs are a one-piece design.

So all spark plugs that AM offers say they only fit with brown coil boots, do mustang GTs just naturally come with the brown boot? How do I know what mine has?

      • Hi, These NGK G-Power Platinum Performance Spark Plugs for 08-10 GT and Bullitt Mustangs, if you have a 05-07 your boots will be black if you have a 08-10 you boots should only be Brown, the best way to tell what spark plugs you should buy is to check your Build date on you build plaque in the door jam if your Mustang was built after 11/30/07 you have brown spark plug boots.
