Its heavy-duty 8.80-inch diameter steel construction provides you with the power you need to deliver your power to the wheels in a way that no other differential can deliver.
5.71 Gear Ratio. This gear ratio is designed to provide you with sheer performance at the cost of fuel efficiency. It ensures the power of your engine is going to bring the most torque possible to your wheels.
Heavy-Duty Steel. This ring and pinion have been forged from hardcore 8620 steel, which is built to withstand punishment and deliver nothing but performance. It's your workhorse that will keep the results coming.
Recommended Upgrade. If you’re upgrading your old ring and pinion to this gear ratio, you will need to reset your speedometer. This can be done at a mechanic, or at home if you have a personal auto tuner.
Installation. This is a very intricate and thorough installation process. Please allow about 4 hours to install, and that’s with advanced mechanical expertise and the right tools. Since you need to completely disassemble your Mustang’s back end, professional installation is highly recommended.
