More Fuel for More Power. Is your GT500 Mustang making more power than your stock fuel pumps can handle? Don't replace them, enhance them with a set of VMP Dual Fuel Pump Boosters. By installing a set of VMP's Dual Fuel Pump Boosters you can dramatically increase the flow rate of your stock fuel pumps without the need of replacing them. These Fuel Pump Boosters are capable of supporting up to 1,000 Horse Power (850RWHP) on Shelby's running E85 fuel with Injector Dynamics High Impedance ID1000 Injectors.

Always Activate. The factory fuel pump driver modules (FPDM) feature a pulse width modulated voltage design. Your Mustangs ECU supplies a variable voltage signal to the FPDM's, so they only use the minimum voltage necessary to maintain the desired fuel pressure. VMP engineered their Fuel Pump Boosters to run a constant 17.5 volts (40A) to the FPDM's, compared to the stock variable 14.5 volts, to ensure that your GT500's pumps are always on and running. Seeing that the VMP Fuel Pump Booster is always active there is no need for any additional power wires or pressure switches.

Plug and Play Installation. VMP's Dual Fuel Pump Boosters feature a simple plug-and-play wiring harness that does not require any cutting or splicing of the factory wiring. The plug-and-play design allows the Dual Boosters to be easily installed or removed if necessary. These VMP Fuel Pump Boosters are to be installed inside the trunk next to the Fuel Pump Driver Modules (FPDM).

Required Upgrade. For proper operation and maximum power potential this VMP Dual Fuel Pump Booster Kit will require reprogramming the vehicles computer. AmericanMuscle recommends a custom tune with a Mustang Handheld Tuner to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) for proper operation.

Application. This VMP Plug and Play Dual Fuel Pump Booster Kit is specifically designed for use on 2013 to 2014 Shelby GT500 Mustangs equipped with dual fuel pumps.

    Dual boost a pump

The instructions are very clear to install. There are the plug and play for 13-14 GT500 the will work with any dual FPDM. I wired these on my 2010 GT500. Was worried about them being on all the time. They are on a daily driven car and travelled 5hrs without issues. Turn the connector towards you of of the FPDM it’s pin 5. The side coming from the car is the fused side.
