I had 24#s in until I switched to BBK long tubes. I'm using the TFS heads and cams kit and I'm at 330 rwhp and 330 rwtq. These work flawlessly and it give me piece of mind as my 24s were getting close to being maxed.Helpful (0)

These injectors are great! Bought when we upgraded camshaft and it is worth the money! Easy to install and great power addition. Must have if you plan on running any decent cam or high rpmHelpful (7)

Accel Injectors EV1
I bought these to bring up the power on my mustang with the new cam's i got at AM, but they don't work with the tunes in my car because Accel won,t give out the info so the tuner can adjust the flow of fuel going into the engine. I think they would work if they would give BAMA the info they need so we could enjoy the extra power. Thank You: Keith L. McCauleyHelpful (9)

These were very easy to replace, just plug them in the same way you remove your old ones. I needed to increase my fuel systems capacity, but didn’t want to break the bank. Obviouslly you will need a tune to make sure everything is running right.Helpful (7)

So i have recently cammed my mustang with stage 3 comp cams and i was having problems with boging down at certain rpms. I decide to get these before i take my car to get tuned and i already notice a huge diff between stock and these 30lbs injectors. This was a great investment.Helpful (9)

With a lot of head work done bigger cams and ect. I needed to go with more fuel flow more than the 19lbs stock injectors and these are boarder line to being to low but they definitely get the job done!Helpful (8)

Excellent product need custom tune but well worth itHelpful (5)
With these injectors will I need a bigger fuel pump or can I run the stock pump?
The 30Lb Accel High Performance EV1 Fuel Injectors require a Re-calibration of the MAF and a custom tune is required. An upgraded fuel pump is not needed but would not hurt to upgrade or consider a voltage booster.
Can i run 24lb Injectors on complete E85 or do i need to mix it? I have a complete fuel system already i just want to know if these are the smallest injectors i can go on for e85
You will want to go with at least 47lb injectors for E85.
will i need to do any upgrades besides mafs if i upgrade my stock 19lb injectors to 30lb i have a 95 gt 5.0 ho all stock besides bbk headers n pipes
As long as the MAF is calibrated for the 30 lb Accel High Performance EV1 Fuel Injectors, no other modifications are required for proper performance.
Is there any mail tune that would work for these injectors? If there is not, can you point me in the direction of a good tuner? My goal is 450hp N/A and i do not think that 24 lb/hr injectors will make the cut.
I don't believe any custom tuners would have any issues tuning for a 30 lb injector like this. However when it comes to fuel components, the answer of what will work, and how well it will work, is entirely dependent the tunes being written for the application. It's best to speak with a custom tuner directly before purchasing fuel components as, relative to your application and the tunes they will be writing for you, there may be another option that would leave you with better results.
Can BAMA write tunes for these injectors?
Bama Performance can not right tunes for Accel injectors no.
Most Aftermarket Superchargers will generally require fuel injectors with a higher power than 30 lbs, however may work for your application. We recommend reaching out to the person who performs your vehicles tuning to consult with them if this will be an applicable upgrade for your Mustang.
The amount of horsepower an injector can support has a lot of different variables to take into account including fuel type, fuel pressure, motor/power adder setup, etc. Feel free to call or chat in so we can help pick the best injector for your combo.
You should be fine with 24 lb injectors. Though, 30lb injectors will give you more play room in case you plan to do anymore modifications in the future. I would definitely make sure you have a good tuner in order to accommodate the larger injectors though. This will ensure that the car isn't just dumping an unnecessary amount of fuel.
The 30lb Accel High Performance EV1 Fuel Injector may not be sufficient to support the fuel needs, however, it would really depend on the exact set-up you are running. If you would like to give us a call at your earliest convenience, we would be more than happy to discuss applicable components.
while the Accel High Performance EV1 Fuel Injectors - 30lb (87-04 V8) would work on your car, this would still be a little to much. We would recommend the Accel High Performance EV1 Fuel Injectors - 24lb (87-04 V8) Item number 37263.
If the only major mod is the cam, the stock 19lb injectors will do fine. Remember that you'll have to get a MAF sensor calibrated to the new injectors for them to work properly. These injectors are intended for forced induction and heavier modifications like heads, intake and higher compression ratios. Until you're pushing 300 hp, 19's will do fine. Look into getting an adjustable fuel pressure regulator instead at this stage.
