How To Install an AeroForce Dual Interceptor Gauge for your 2005-2013 Mustang

Installation Time

30 minutes

Tools Required
  • Zip Strips
  • Rubber Band
  • Wire Ties

Installation Instructions:

1. Make sure car is off.

2. Open the box and remove the back metal c-clip off the Aeroforce gauges

3. Unclip the side kick panel by pulling it up. You do not need to remove it just unclip it.

4. Remove the panel cover that goes up the trim of the door and covers the engine latch handle and also remove the panel that has the hole for the window vents. They can be easily removed by pulling on them gently.

5. Loosen the SOS Pillar.

6. Run the end of the wires up from near the ODB2 port up to where your gauges will be mounted. Pull the wires out through the pod or gauge mount.

7. Plug in each gauge and the feed the cord back down towards the ODB2 port. Do it for both gauges. Push in the Aeroforce Gauges into the pod or gauge mount. If it’s not secure, you can use soft Velcro, some tape, a piece of zip strip, etc… in order to make the fitment tight.

8. Wrap up the extra wiring making sure there is enough left to plug into the ODB2 port.

9. Here is a good location to hide the wiring. (don’t mind the dirty carpet).

10. Push back in the SOS Pillar, and all three panels that were removed.

11. Plug in the gauges into the ODB2 port.

Please note for 2011 Mustangs, use Parameter 4. 2010 Mustangs and earlier will use Parameter 1.
