Tough Build Quality. These hood vents are manufactured from premium polyurethane, making them extremely resistant to deterioration and cracking over time. Additionally, these components undergo a high-tech, injection-molding process to produce a pair of accurately fitting vents that offer exceptional consistency. Finally, these hood vents feature a flawless matte black finish that offers a rugged style on their own, but is easily painted to color-match your vehicle.
Simple Install Procedure. These hood vents feature 3M automotive-grade adhesive backing as well as built-in mounting bolts designed to utilize your Mustang’s factory mounting location to simplify the installation process. Before installation, the mounting areas should first be thoroughly cleaned and wiped down with the included alcohol wipes and adhesive promoter. This is to ensure maximum adhesion of the backing to your vehicle. What’s more, when installing these components in cold weather, the mounting locations should first be warmed up as the adhesive works best in temperatures of 60 degrees Fahrenheit. This can be accomplished using a hairdryer or heat gun.
