Racetrack Tuned. Countless laps and several competition events have helped the Airlift engineers hone the razor sharp handling and flat cornering nature of this airbag suspension.

Adjustable. Airlift suspension kits use 30-way adjustable, monotube struts with a serious range of damping adjustment that have been specially tuned to match their progressive air springs. The 30 clicks of adjustment aren't just for fun, but rather allow the user to dial in his preferred handling feel or desired ride quality from super stiff to really soft.

4" Drop; 1" Lift. This Airlift Suspension Kit allows you to drop your Mustang over 4" from the stock height for a killer parked stance and with the push of a button, lift it back up so you can tear around your favorite road course or drag strip. This Airlift Suspension Kit not only allows you to drop your ride height, but it also allows you to raise it up about 1" (25mm) over the stock OEM ride height making it perfect for speed bumps or steeply angled driveways.

AutoPilot V2 Digital Controller. The AutoPilot V2 Digital Controller has 8 different presets to tailor your rides height with incredible accuracy with just a push of the button. The V2 constantly monitors your pressures and adjust accordingly to your preset requirements. It also allows you to control your system manually, for the ultimate in independent 4 corner adjustment. The V2 Digital Controller displays individual corner air pressure and tank pressure on a multi-color screen in a choice of 512 color combinations, you can also choose to display pressure in PSI or BAR. The V2 controller features a rugged, rubberized coating to help protect against the occasional drops and scratches.

Simple Install; No Cutting Required. Installation of this Airlift Suspension Kit is simple with only basic hand tools required to complete the job. There are no modifications required in front and only 4 small holes that need to be drilled in the rear spring pocket area. If you can wire a stereo and swap suspension parts, you can install this system yourself!

1 Year Warranty. As the leader in air suspension products for over 60 years, Air Lift is committed to delivering quality parts that last. To ensure longevity, the key suspension components have been tested on a durability rig for over 1 million cycles, which equates to 100K miles. With a 1 year, unlimited mileage warranty, you can purchase this kit with peace of mind.

Application. This complete Digital Airlift Suspension Kit is designed for use on all 2005 to 2014 coupe and convertible Mustangs, including the V6, GT, Bullitt, Boss and Shelby GT500 models.

Technical Note. If you have a Mustang that has an Upgraded OEM Rear Shock (ie: Some Boss 302 and Shelby GT500 models) that features a larger diameter shock rod, it will have a larger shock bushing than a Mustang equipped with the Standard OEM Rear Shock. Since the Air Lift Performance Suspension Kit re-uses the existing shock bushings, the larger bushings will

not work. In order for the rear shocks from the Suspension Kit to fit properly, you'll need to use the smaller shock bushings that is used on the Standard OEM Rear Shocks.

Alignment How will this kit affect alignment? Do you get the car aligned at a set desirable driving height?

      • Your alignment will be affected with the install of this kit, however, it's completely based off of the ride height you drive at most commonly. Just like when you lower your vehicle using springs, you will want to have the front end checked for alignment differences from stock. Typically, you will have a "normal" ride height you are comfortable driving at, and you will want to have the vehicle aligned at that specific height, or in the case with this kit, that specific pressure. After having it aligned at that height, any changes from there are minimal and will not negatively affect your vehicle for short periods of time (driving into shows lower than normal, or higher than normal to accommodate for road conditions).

difference between manual and digital? What exactly does "manual" mean, in relation to this kit? The digital kit says it comes with a push button pad. How is this kit's height changed?

      • Manual or digital does not effect the height of the car at all. With the digital kit you can set 8 different presets and all you have to do is push a button and you go directly to the height you want. Installation and daily use is very easy with the digital kit. The manual kit requires a bit more installation and is not as easy to use on a daily basis. You have to push four separate buttons to achieve the height you are looking for. Both systems work very well, it just comes down to ease of use and installation.

As far as the digital kit does the car adjust ride height with the presets? Do you have to have the car in park, off, or it doesn't matter? Just trying to picture rolling up to a speedbump and needing to adjust and how much time is needed to do so.

      • It is as easy as just pushing the preset button for the height you want. You can adjust the system while driving down the road and the response is instant!

Tire ware Has anyone experienced excessive tire ware? If one purchases this kit, how does one try to get the maximum life out of their tires when riding low with this kit? Is it possible? Do not want to purchase tires every 6 months but really liking this kit.

      • I have been on air for the last 3 years with no abnormal tire wear. Just pick the drive height you want and get the alignment done at that height. At that point it is no different than being on lowering springs.

Are aftermarket suspension parts necessary with this kit or is it pretty much stand alone?

      • Yes. an Adjustable panhard bar is a Must with any lowering of the car to center your axle. otherwise the wheels will stick out more on one side than the other.

Review from Air Lift Performance Complete Suspension Kit - Manual (05-14 All)

But don’t be fooled and buy the manual set up. There is not enough room to run all the airlines and manual valves. You need to buy the digital kit or else you’ll be doing some remodeling inside the car.

          All around great!

This system is all around great for anyone who is wanting a cheap air suspension kit. This provides a smooth ride over my old Eibach springs, and looks great aired put anywhere I go. Very minimal maintainence required and money well spent.

This is the best thing I have done to my stang

If you want to make an impression at a show or just rolling down the street you need this kit. The thing that makes this great is its versatility. The suspension can be turned 7 ways till Sunday and you can find your comfort or performance level. I took it to the track the day after installing it and it did fantastic. The driver needs a lot of work but the suspension was a marked improvement over the static drop I previously had. If you are a hands on person then you can do this. Two people will make it WAY easier to do. Its worth the cost!! I couldn't be happier!!

Way better setup than any springs or coilovers i have ever had. One word... Versitility. Highway cruise, race, speed bumps, car shows, whatever.... this setup does it all. Fill time for the tank is slow so buy a second compressor. Worth every penny.

2005 mustang gt air ride suspension

This kit is the most awsome thing I have ever bought for my car it was everything they said it was. The installation went flawless and it was done in my garage with Jacks and Jack stands, and only took one weekend and that was me taking my time. Best suspension that I have ever owned I love it.

          Apples & Oranges

Apples & Oranges are the only way to compare how my stock handling 13 5.0 felt compared to now. I'm very pleased. Along with the kit, I bought a Whiteline Panhard bar & Barton shifter. I did not install those yet. This car feels so tight and perfect, it's everything I could have wished for. My advice for install, I ran all my airlines inside to the bags. Leaving them protected from underside damage, etc. I followed the door sil harness' and out the grommet. Very simple. Before you start, have extra butt connectors, electrical tape, nylon cable clamps from 1 inch to 1/4 & gut your interior from the kick panels, door sil, rear sides, back seat, trunk. Then have fun. Hardest part was drilling the rear holes for the air line, which wasn't hard. You just need to take your time. People claim this kit takes them 6 hours to install. Take your time. You want your install to look clean because everyone is going to ask to see it! Don't be a hack! I set my struts about 2.5 inches lower than stock and I'm running 35F/43R for a nice height and ride. I love it. No bounce, car follows the road, no dive or lift or roll! DO IT!

          Best Purchase yet

So, I have installed Sway Bars, control arms, and a watts link....none of that made as much of a difference as this Bag Kit. The car stays flat in turns and on launch and braking. I use my car for normal driving, AutoCross and for drag....the versatility of this kit makes it too easy to do whatever adjustments I want or need. Install was easy, it was a bit time consuming, but that was because I wanted a clean professional install. Hardest part was drilling the holes for the rear bags....only thing that made it hard for me was the fact that the drill bit melted the metal a little bit. I would advise not to rush the drilling due to that. Overall, there is no way you can be disappointed by this purchase.

I was ridding on a set of bc racing coilovers and as it eliminated the fender gap the ride quality suffered. If I saw a speed bump that looked too hight it's not like I could stop in the middle of the street and raise up my car, so as a result I scrapped the bottom of my car a few times and bottomed out. Airlift fixed all my issues I had. I could ride low around town , push a button and literally raise the car 3" in a second and clear speed bumps and steep driveways. The ride quality is amazing and feels like it absorbes the bumps. If your even thinking about airbags do yourself a favor and go for it don't waste your money on somthing you'll regret later. The only bad things I would have to say is that the instructions are not the best. The wiring is a simple 3 wire hook up but the rear airbags require you to drill through the floor for mounting and plumbing for the air lines. It would be better if they had a template for marking the holes. The handheld control is great and fits in the palm of your hands but does not come with any type of mounting hard wear what's so ever so I'm still trying to figure what to do with it. Overall I would choose airlift for my next ride

One of the best parts I have bought for my car!!

Okay first off the install is pretty straight forward. If you can install lowering springs you should be able to do this given the right tools. There is a bit of fabrication that is needed but nothing hard. Install took me about a day. When running the air lines from the front I chose to run them under the car on the drivers side next to the fuel lines. The fuel lines have a plastic cover so I figured this would also protect the air lines from debris also. Once everything was done the system fired right up and I was off. There is adjustable dampening so you can choose what ride quality you like. I have been to the strip but have not tracked it yet. I cannot wait to see the improvement there. Overall a awesome product and if you're seriously looking at this kit BUY IT!!! You will not be disappointed! PS: also it's quite the head turner at cars shows!!

          The no-compromise solution.

I like how my car looks low, but I like it to be capable of driving daily and driving on rough roads. The AirLift package is expensive, but after all the different suspension systems I've installed over the years, this is where money is well spent. I put this system on my GT500 convertible and after the install, I was very, very excited how it turned out. I did the install myself in my shop with a lift. However, you could do this easily in a garage with some help. The install was very straight forward and easy for the most part. The frustrating part of the install was installing and the rear airbags. The convertible has more structural support in the rear behind the seat, which is no surprise, and you have to drill holes for the rear airbag lines to feed up into the trunk. This was difficult to do, but that was the hardest part of the install. Ride height is incredibly comfortable. I had many co-workers joke about the car bobbing around but after I took them for a ride, their mind did a 180* turn and it has left a permanent scar for how good the air ride quality is. I took the install a step further though by installing a smaller tank in the trunk and locating it to the spare tire well under the trunk mat, along with the compressor, and regulator. All of the air system is now neatly tucked away out of sight and my trunk space is 100% usable. I plan to install a second compressor this upcoming spring. If you have no fear tearing into your car and wiring up simple schematics, then this is for you, but if you have little to no tech experience and are of the weak hearted when it comes to wrenching on your personal vehicle, then I would leave the install to an expert.

          Digital Airlift Setup

I have had my airlift setup since the beginning of the 2013 season. It is absolutely great and really makes your car stand out. Me and my friends installed in in my garage with all basic tools overnight. The installation isnt too bad, kind of like installing coilovers with a couple air hoses and a bunch of wiring from the trunk. the trickiest part is drilling in the trunk to line up the rear bags that sit on the axle. The digital v2 management is a must have and is much more reliable and useful than the manual kit. You get auto raise on starts, auto adjusting, and presets along with not having to mount to ugly gauges anywhere. As far as handling its great. It has 15 way dampers and my suspension is very stiff. Over all it looks great, rides great, and you get awesome looks when you air out.
