Description
High-Performance Carbon Fiber Hood. The Anderson Composites Type-OE Hood; Carbon Fiber is designed to replace the stock hood on 2015-2020 Mustang Shelby GT350 and GT350R models. It reduces weight significantly while maintaining structural strength and styled aesthetics, enhancing vehicle performance and appearance.
Construction and Appearance. This hood is crafted using a vacuum infused process with 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth ensuring a strong carbon/resin ratio. It features a marine grade gel coat with UV inhibitors that is polished to provide a durable high gloss finish, adding both protection and visual appeal.
Installation. Installation requires minor modifications including adjustments to mounting tabs and grille fitment. While it mounts with OEM hardware (not included), professional installation is advised to ensure precise fitment and avoid potential damage as gas struts are not recommended for reuse.
Application. Designed specifically to fit 2015-2020 Mustang Shelby GT350 and GT350R models. Minor modifications are necessary to install the OE grille and for proper mounting tab alignment.
