To further customize your unique Pony, the hood comes with a mesh screen that can be removed and painted whatever color you want, allowing for a one-of-a-kind accent to your distinctive muscle car.
Powerful Performance. Not only does the Heat Extractor Hood's heat extractor vents offer an easy way to help your Mustang stand out, but they also work to dramatically boost its performance. Featuring a design that draws heat out of your engine bay, these vents keep your Pony as powerful as possible as the cooler function allows for increased torque and horsepower.
Maximum Durability. Designed with a carbon fiber skeleton that is bonded to the underside of the carbon fiber hood for a lightweight, high-strength construction, this Heat Extractor Hood is as hardcore as they come. The direct OE replacement requires a heat shield and hood pins for safety reasons, but it does come with a high-gloss finish that adds a sleek style for maximum shine.
Installation. Those with moderate mechanical skills will be able to use the OE hardware to secure the hood in just 1 hour. Modifications may be necessary for correct fitment of the OE windshield washer spray nozzle system, but re-installing the gas shocks/dampers/struts isn't recommended.
