      Description

      Premium Carbon Fiber Hood. The Anderson Composites Type-TW Hood; Double Sided Carbon Fiber is engineered to replace the stock hood with a lighter, stronger performance-oriented component. It helps reduce overall vehicle weight while maintaining exceptional rigidity, which is important for both aesthetics and performance enhancement in automotive applications.

      Construction and Appearance. This hood is made using a vacuum infused process with 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth, ensuring a superior weave pattern and carbon to resin ratio for enhanced stiffness and strength. It features a marine grade gel coat with UV inhibitors that is polished to a high gloss finish, providing excellent surface protection and an attractive luster. The mesh screen is removable and paintable for customization.

      Installation. Installation may require minor modifications such as relocating OE rubber bump stops and adjustments to mounting tabs for proper fit. The hood mounts using original equipment hardware, which is not included, and professional installation is recommended to achieve optimal fitment.

      Application. This hood fits 2015-2017 Ford Mustang GT and EcoBoost models, excluding the Mustang GT350 variant due to design differences. Minor modifications may be necessary for OE windshield washer spray nozzle compatibility and overall correct installation.
