Step 1 First with the vehicle on firm level ground, open the hood and take off the center nut on the strut itself (see Photo A). Replace old bushings with new ones and retighten.

Step 2 Next support front of vehicle on jackstands.

Use extreme caution under vehicle

Step 3 First remove both front wheels and proceed to take off the factory endlinks as shown in Photo B.

Step 4 Next remove one swaybar bushing at a time and install the new one before going on to the other side.

The plastic nut caps on the top of the swaybar mounts will usually break and you will need to hold the nut with a wrench Also a light coating of grease will prevent future squeaking.

Step 5 Finally install the new endlink bushings as shown in Photo B and proceed to tighten them until they begin to compress. (Use caution not to over tighten them.)

Step 6 Place the wheels back on the car and tighten to factory specifications. Then you can lower the vehicle using caution.
