      Quality Product!!

Install was not a hassle, anyone can do it. Bolts right up as advertised. I don't have a lot of HP in the car. I installed a one piece aluminum DS at same time.Just did the safety loop for piece of mind.

      Fits perfect!

This BMR drive-shaft loop fits perfectly with my long tube headers and X-pipe. I had to go with this one, as the Moroso drive-shaft loop did not have the clearance needed for the long tube headers and X-pipe.

      Hard to fit

Bad product too much modification to make fit. Ended up giving it to my mechanic for his troubles. I'm not racing my car so I don't need it.

      Not the best option

I bought this safety loop along with a aluminum one piece 3.5" diameter driveshaft. My car has stock exhaust and headers, however, it is about 1.25" lowered. When I installed it it looked perfect, I centered the piece with the driveshaft and apparently it was a perfect fit. What I did not take in count is that when I lowered the lift the differential goes up along with the driveshaft which means that it is not centered to the safety loop anymore. In the middle of the highway it hit the driveshaft and sounded like the driveshaft had broken the 4 bots and unattached from the transmission, the traffic was heavy and could not change lanes so I got stuck in the middle of the highway with heavy traffic and 3 passengers. Do not buy this product because there is no way to adjust it up and down just to the sides. And since american muscle just gives you 30 warranty without the part being installed I cannot return it and have to find a way to bend the safety loop up for it to fit

      Great product, easy install

Took me just under two hours to install in my garage with car on jack stands. Very straight forward and easy with simple hand tools. I already had a one piece drive shaft and it fit well with plenty of clearance. A must have if you drag race.

      Driveshaft Loop

Fits with Kooks long tube headers, Competition Engineering loop didn't. No issues with install.

      This product is well constructed.

The BMR driveshaft safety loop is a very well constructed safety product and I am sure it was designed to be installed on a stock Mustang GT. This product was purchased to be installed on a 2007 Mustang GT equipped with Kooks 1-3/4" long tube headers and 3" off road X-Pipe. I had the safety loop installed at the same time as the aluminum driveshaft to reduce installation cost. Due to the 3" X-Pipe being larger in diameter than the stock 2-1/2" X-Pipe, the safety loop tube length had to be shortened by 1" to prevent the X-Pipe and safety loop tube from rubbing up against each other. I believe I read this same issue in another review, but I liked the design of the product and accepted the fact that if it didn't fit I could have it modified, that is what hot rodding is all about.

      Peace of Mind

Installed this safety loop after a clutch installation while the driveshaft was removed. Not tricks to installation so the directions that come with the part suffice. The product seems stout and the driveshaft ends up being well centered in the loop after installation so fitment is very good. Nothing to report during normal operation of the vehicle on the street. This product isn't really designed for performance gain so I put average.

      Well built

The product has solid built design. Everything lined up perfect for a very easy install. Great value and gives piece of mind with high HP vehicles.
