How to Install Cervini's Stalker Fiberglass Front Bumper - Unpainted (94-98 All) on your Ford Mustang

IMPORTANT: Prefit Before Painting!

Painted or Altered Parts are Non-Refundable

1. Remove factory bumper.

2. Remove styrofoam filler that is riveted to the bumper reinforcement.

3. Install Sta[kern' bumper and install screws on inner fender wells in the factory locations.

4. Install the supplied 1/4"x20x3/4" bolts where the factory bumper was riveted to the headlight mount panel. (These rivets were drilled out previously to remove bumper.)

5. Drill 1/8 inch pilot holes in the steel bumper reinforcement through the pre-drilled holes in the top of the mouth opening on the Stalker' bumper. Then drill a 3/16 inch hole through the pilot holes. (NOTE: use high speed drill bits because the reinforcement is hardened steel). Install the provided self-tapping bolts by hand - do not overtighten.

Optional Fog Lights for GT

1. Remove fog lights from stock position.

2. Remove bracket from the back of the fog light.

3. Flip threaded bolt down.

4. Position fog lights spacing on the bottom of the mouth opening to your preferred location.

5. Once positioned, cut a notch on the bottom of the back edge of the mouth opening large enough for the threaded bolt to slide into. Install the square washer and nut that was provided with the fog light onto the threaded bolt and tighten.

Painting

Now that the part has been properly prefit, it can be prepped for paint.

1. Clean surface to be painted with wax remover to remove any mold release contaminants.

2. Sand gel coat with 220 grit sandpaper and apply 2-3 coats of urethane primer with hardener. Wet sand primer with a block & 500 grit sandpaper. Your surface is now ready for paint.

3. When selecting your paint, make sure you choose a urethane or acrylic based enamel with a hardener,   do not use lacquer.
