    What are the dimensions of the jack pad? Will it work with a 2 ton floor jack?

    • The C&L Pinch Weld Jack Pad (05-17 All) is roughly about 3 inches. Basically the size of a hockey puck but slightly taller. This jack pad will be able to work with a 2 ton floor jack.

      Did the job!

      Works just as expected. Kept it from sliding around on the jack pad by adhering skid proof tape on the bottom. A bit pricey but we’ll made.

      Wouldn't fit under my mustang

      I put it on my craftsman 3 ton floor jack and it was to tall to fit under my 2006 Mustang GT Convertible. Gives me a good reason to go buy a new low profile floor jack. Lol

      Does not work well

      Hard to use. The part needs to be magnetized to hold to put the jack under the car. The groove also needs to be deeper to accept the punch weld

      Works Like a Charm

      Does what its designed for. Got so I didn't have to always get the car ramps out when I, just needed to jack up onside of the car.

      Excellent Product

      C L jack pad

      Pad worked great did not distort the pinch weld. Would be nice if it had a magnet in it but was no big deal.

      C L Pinch weld Jack pad

      I was hesitant to order this item because of the outrageous price . I have ordered many items from American Muscle in the past ; some I felt were over priced but always great quality. This item is not only way over priced but does not even fit correctly. The slot that the jacking rail fits into is machined too wide and not quite deep enough; therefore it's not very stable , when jacking you must hold the pad until the vehicle starts to raise . Looks impressive but expected a much better fit. My advice to anyone having a mustang with lower moldings like the GT take measurements , go to a local machine shop and have one made that fits properly.

      Awesome for safety and ease!

      Had a similar product for my Z06. I am on MCS Coilovers with a 2" drop with 18x11s and while I have to roll onto very small self-made ramps to get the car high enough to use a slimline jack, this jack pad is perfect. It allows you to very safely jack the car up without using other hard points like the uni-body. The diameter of the jack pad fits into the lifting point of the jack. It's perfect!

      Pinch Weld Jack Pad

      Solid, very well made and nice finishing. Perfect fit. A bit pricey, but I think worth it. Quick delivery on product and good packaging.

      great little tool to have

      This product is a must have if you don't want to mess up your pinch welds. Especially if you have the boss 302 side exhuast. This product gets on to the pics weld next to the side exhaust so you can jack up the rear of your mustang.

      Actually a really nice jack pad

      A really nice high quality piece. The base is about the diameter of a hockey puck (but it is taller) and fit on my jack base plate with room to spare. My 2015 GT is lowered about 1" (steeda progressives) and my low profile jack (harbor freight) still fit under the car with this in place. The part with the notch is small enough to fit away from the main jack points which is nice so that you can rest the car on the jack stands at those points. Overall a worthwhile purchase if you're afraid of distorting the pinch welds with your jack and don't want to add jack rails.
