    It's great

Put this one when I did my upper and lower control arm bushings. I'm not sure if u have too but I took the diff out of the IRS sub frame to put mine on. Haven't wheel hopped since. I launch at 2800

Feels like a strong piece but does not work with most diff covers.

I bought this brace and the IRS diff cover from LPW at the same time and before installing them, i checked how they would bolt to each other and found out they will not due to clearance caused by the LPW diff covers bearing supports. I called LPW direct and they said you dont need a brace with their cover. The braces, like the Steeda one is intended for use with the factory cover. If my stock cover wasnt broken I would buy this again, but no need for it with the LPW diff cover.

    Great product

Got this when I did the IRS swap in my 98 gt. I figured spending a little on preventative upgrades now is a lot better than paying 3-5 hundred for a new cover later. Fits great, pretty easy install. Just takes time. Overall, I'm really happy with it. And the peace of mind, knowing the cover isn't going to break, is worth every penny.

A must have if you are pushing more then stock or have poor traction.

Poor traction will results in wheel hop. If you get severe wheel hop without this brace you will break your differential cover. If you are mechanically able to remove you catback system, than you should have no problem doing this mod. Follow the instructions then when it comes time to mount the Differential, I found it easiest to place the two large rear bolts first but not tight (alignment can be difficult here) and then hang the #4 cross-member leaving it loose as possible. Now remove the heavy weight from the differential cradle. Assemble the front diff bolts and bushings in the correct order leaving off the top washer. Now tilt the #4 cross-member down and feed the cradle and bushings into the cross-member. Tilt the cross-member into proper position and slide the top washer in place before tightening the front diff bolts. Job is easier with two people.

    Must have for IRS

If you have an IRS, this is a must have unless you won't to break your rear. Track or street, if you launch hard, you need this. The install can be a pain and if you drop the center section out, that can be a pain unless you use a lift. If you do that, might as well do gears too but then install is super easy.
