Description
Reduces Engine Sludge. Prevent engine sludge from impeding the power and performance of your Mustang. Installing a Driver and Passenger Side J&L Version 3.0 Air/Oil Separator will prevent crankcase exhaust, better known as blow-by (an oily vapor), from re-circulated back through your PCV system and intake. If left unchecked this oily vapor can solidify becoming engine sludge. This nasty sludge can coat the inside of your throttle body and intake manifold robbing you of power. These J&L 3.0 Separators are an ideal upgrade for all Mustangs that want to reduce engine sludge in order to maintain power and performance.
Version 3.0. J&L improved on the designed of their old Oil Separators with the introduction of their new and improved Version 3.0. The first big change you will notice is that the Version 3.0 Separator has a larger 3 oz capacity, that is almost double that of their previous model. Another important difference is the filter media. Older J&L Separators used a Ford Motorcraft pre-filter, but now J&L uses a 1/2" thick 1/16th" aluminum honeycomb filter with a mesh stainless steel screen to trap even more fine oil vapors than before to prevent them from gumming up your engine.
Superior Quality. These J&L Oil Separator Company Air/Oil Separators are proudly manufactured right here in the USA. J&L CNC-machines their Air/Oil Separators from a solid block of billet aluminum for superior strength. Designed with a rubber o-ring, these Separators will maintain a tight leak-free seal. The base features a knurled texture, so that it can easily be gripped for removal during routine oil changes. J&L then completes their Catch Cans in a durable black anodized finish for aggressive good looks and long lasting corrosion resistance.
Easy Installation. J&L Oil Separator Company engineered their Separators to be installed in under 10 minutes with just basic hand tools. This kit comes complete and includes PCV lines with stock-style quick-disconnect fittings that allow for an easy plug-and-play installation. All the necessary parts are included, with no cutting or extra modifications required.

Technical Note. These J&L Air/Oil Separators are not CARB certified, therefore they are not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards. It is intended for off-road use only.
