    Application. These Comp Cams Valve Springs are designed for 1985 to 1995 Mustangs with either the 5.0L or 5.8L pushrod V8 engines and are sold as a set of 16 springs. Some milling of the heads is required for installation.

      Stock heads have to be milled

      I didn't notice the advise to mill the stock heads so the inside spring had clearance which resulted in 16 bent pushrods, one broken rocker and a couple broken springs during the motor break in. My own fault but make sure to note the possible need for machine work.

      Nice Springs

      Having my heads ported, a valve job done, and the valve seats refinished. Going to install these springs with 1.6 roller rockers. Will upload photos when completed!
