        Stock heads have to be milled

        I didn't notice the advise to mill the stock heads so the inside spring had clearance which resulted in 16 bent pushrods, one broken rocker and a couple broken springs during the motor break in. My own fault but make sure to note the possible need for machine work.

        Having my heads ported, a valve job done, and the valve seats refinished. Going to install these springs with 1.6 roller rockers. Will upload photos when completed!

      • These springs will require milling for use on GT40P heads.

      • We do recommend new steel retainers. Otherwise, you will not need any additional parts.

      This is for my 1989 And i was wondering Is this all i need for installation? Or do i need to purchase valve spring retainers and valve springs locks? Or can i use the stock retainers and locks?

      • We recommend new steel retainers with these springs, other than that, you should be good to go.
