      Cooler Charge For More Power. Superchargers are great for making power, but they are also known to create excessive heat that can cause detonation. But by upgrading your Supercharged Shelby GT500 to a C&R Racing Dual Pass Heavy Duty Heat Exchanger with Dual 12" Electric Fans you can effectively lower intake charge temperatures, eliminating detonation and increasing horsepower. The C&R Racing Heat Exchanger will decrease inlet temperatures by up to 50 degrees when compared to the factory heat exchanger.

      Made In The USA. C&R Racing heat exchangers are built right here in the USA by highly skilled fabricators using the latest in manufacturing techniques. All C&R heat exchangers are TIG welded by hand with CNC billet machined fittings (to ensure consistent sizing to SAE specifications) and feature furnace brazed cores (without epoxy) to produce a light weight exchanger that is extremely strong, highly efficient, and leak proof.

      Kit Includes. The Shelby GT500 C&R Racing Heat Exchanger kit comes complete and includes an all aluminum  Double Pass Heat Exchanger, two 12" electric fans with the required wiring harness and relay needed for installation.

        better than the 2013 exchanger but not awesome

        I was hoping that it would keep the temps to just above ambient temp. I put the "Shelby" stencil in black on the front for a finishing touch. It's weird the way it works. the fans run and it looks great. However, the temps do get warm up to 30* above ambient when idling and just driving slowly. when you stab the throttle, the temps immediately go back to near and even sometimes below ambient. I live in Florida. It is always hot and muggy. this was a good upgrade.

        5 2007 GT500 - Devil


        I installed this kit on a customers 2007 gt500. The heat exchanger is huge compared to the factory kit. It's definitely a high quality product and though I'm not sure about performance gains, they will definitely cool your supercharger cooling system more effectively than the factory unit. The fans sound like high speed cooling fans. The instructions were decent. Figment is perfect. It pretty much goes in as expected. The kit came with a lot of extra hose. The schematic for wiring in the fan relays was clear and accurate. I mounted the relays on existing holes on opposite sides of the core support and used existing chassis grounds. The only problem I had was that the nyloc nuts had the wrong thread pitch for the coolant pump mounting and did not match the exchanger mounting bolt threads. I had to use different nuts, but it wasn't a big deal. Overall, great product.

      Have there been any fitment issues with the 2013 2014 GT500? I have heard these have issues in those two year models.

      • This heavy duty heat exchanger is designed for 07-14 GT500 models. From my understanding, you shouldn't run into any fitment issues when installing on a 13-14 GT500.

      Is there any way I can use this on a 2013 GT with a Kenne Bell 3.2L? If not what would need to be changed to make it work?

      • This is not designed as a direct fit for your GT as it is designed for the GT500, so it would likely not fit without some sort of modification.
