Once installed will both sets of fog lights work?
If they are wired to some sort of power I don't see why not.
Replacing the bulbs with HIDs to match Raxiom Headlights for V6? I wanted to replace the yellowish-orange color of the Lower Fascial bulbs with a brighter white HID bulb, and was wondering if this is doable to match the Smoked Raxiom Headlights for a V6? What exact bulbs would be necessary for the replacement? Much appreciated :)
I have these on both of my Coyote's and ended up going to an HID kit like you are asking about. I went with a quality kit that has 35 watt bulbs and a 6000K light signature, which is bright white, anything higher is blueish in color. If you go higher than 35 watts then you risk melting your head lights or worse. I also bought the Raxiom Halo fog lights to match and due to the size I bought LED bulbs to match the headlights because they don't put off as much heat. A H11 Sylvania bulb is the bulb number you want if you dont buy HID's or LED's but want brighter lights over what comes with the Raxiom's which don't due it for me.
Will the fog Lights work with the V6 I have a V6 with the GT bumper so I was wondering if these fog lights would fit on the same way. Also, do I need to get any extra pieces?
If you have a GT bumper cover installed then this piece will fit right on. They come with 2 wire harnesses to plug the lights into the factory fog light plugs but if you want to keep the fogs they can be spliced in and work fine. The lights on this part are more like accent lights not good for use as fogs because they arent to bright. If you want to get rid of the yellow colored lights a Sylvania H11 bulb will fit your headlights and fogs. I used a 35watt HID kit with 6000K light signature which is bright white and got LED bulbs for the stock fogs because they produce less heat.
2 questions.. Will both sets of fog lights work? or will there be wire splicing required for this to happen? also are the bulbs of these new easily replaceable or are they an enclosed housing like the newer v6 models?
ThisFord BOSS/CS Style Lower Front Fascia w/ Foglight kit is a Lower Front Fascia and 2 fog lights. It has about one foot of wire coming out the back of the light to tie into your factory wire harness or you can wire it directly to a switch with additional wiring. The bulbs in the fog lights are replaceable.
I need to replace my stock 2012 Boss 302 lower front fascia and was wondering how I would hook up the fog lights since the 2012 Boss 302 did not come with them from the factory?
The fog lights in this front fascia will take power from your upper lights in the grille and they will no longer be functional. There are a few options to consider. You can either change the upper grille, install a fog light delete (https://www.americanmuscle.com/mmd-foglight-deletes-1012.html) or purchase the lower front fascia that doesn't have the fog lights (https://www.americanmuscle.com/cs-boss-lower-fascia-gt.html). Some people have wired them into the stock lights but there is a risk of melting the wiring.
This Ford BOSS/CS Style Lower Front Fascia will include the Fascia and Fog Lights only.
This Ford BOSS/CS Style Lower Front Fascia can be installed without removing the bumper, however, it can be a little easier to remove and install the fascia with the bumper removed. Removing the bumper allows for the installer to have more room to comfortably remove and install the fascia's, but it can be done with the bumper of the vehicle.
Unfortunately the front cover will have to be removed to access and replace the fog lights.
Hello! Unfortunately a body shop would not be able to install this front fascia on a V6 Mustang without some serious body modifications.
This will indeed work just as a replacement for a 11-14 GT/CS as well as an upgrade for an 11-14 GT.
Hello! The bulbs in the Ford BOSS/CS Style Lower Front Fascia can be replaced using H1 bulbs.
The closest you are going to get to matching your HID lights with your fog lights would be to do an LED conversion. The big fog lights in the grill would use the Raxiom LED Fog Light Bulbs (05-12 GT; 03-04 Cobra) (Item #393037) And can be found here: http://www.americanmuscle.com/raxiom-led-fog-light-bulbs-0512gt-0304cobra.html The fog lights used in the Ford Performance BOSS/CS Style Lower Front Fascia w/ Foglights (10-12 GT would use axiom Fog Light LED Conversion Bulb Kit - H11 (05-09 V6; 10-14 w/ Bumper Mounted Fog Lights) (Item #387340) And can be found here: http://www.americanmuscle.com/raxiom-h11-led-conversion-kit.html
This kit is a grill and 2 fog lights. It has about one foot of wire coming out the back of the light to tie into your wire harness.
The Ford Performance BOSS/CS Style Lower Front Fascia w/ Foglights (10-12 GT) does come with its own wiring, however if you wanted to do a fog light delete, you would be able to attach the new fog lights to the original fog light harness with some modifications.
Iv been wondering for the longest time and no one could answer what they are but they are an H11 bulb size so you can swap them out for HIDs
