Wide Tire Accommodation. The Detroit Speed Mini Wheel Tubs enable the installation of wider tire and wheel packages on your vehicle, supporting tires up to 315mm wide, except 315 drag radial tires. This modification is ideal for enthusiasts seeking enhanced performance and a more aggressive stance without extensive body modifications.
Durable Steel Construction. These mini tubs are precision stamped from 18-gauge steel, ensuring strength and durability while maintaining a stamped original equipment appearance. They are laser trimmed for consistent fitment and include extra material for deeper installations.
Installation Process. Installation requires trimming the rear interior trim panels and modifying the rear seat to accommodate the mini tubs. Factory shock mounts must be removed, and suspension changes are necessary. While not extremely complex, some fabrication and mechanical skills are required.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 79-93 Mustang.
