      Power Steering Upgrade. The Detroit Speed Power Steering Pump Mounting Bracket is designed to modernize the power steering system on 5.0-liter small-block Ford engines in Fox Body Mustangs. It provides a reliable mounting solution for a GM Type II style power steering pump, enhancing steering performance and reliability for enthusiasts looking to improve their vehicle’s drivability.

      Construction and Appearance. This bracket assembly is crafted from billet aluminum combined with powder coated steel, ensuring both strength and corrosion resistance. The CNC machining process guarantees precision fitment, while the finish offers a durable and attractive appearance suited for engine compartments.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward, utilizing existing mounting holes on the cylinder head and timing cover or water pump. No drilling is required, making the upgrade accessible for most installers with basic mechanical skills.

      Application. Specifically designed to fit 1979-1993 Fox Body Mustangs equipped with the 5.0L engine without air conditioning. This bracket will not fit models equipped with factory air conditioning systems.
