Settings. Featuring eight preset settings, the Diablosport "MAFia" MAF Interface Adapter is perfect for all horsepower ranges, from street/strip car calibrations all the way up to 800 plus horsepower race cars.
Tune Required Settings. Settings 2 through 6 on the MAFia modulate the signal from the MAF to the computer to a point where a tune is required to properly allow these changes to be applied to the computer. Settings 0, 1 and 7 modulate the signal from the MAF to the computer, but not to the point where a tune is required.
Application. The Diablosport MAFia Mass Air Flow Calibrator is a direct plug and play upgrade adapter for all 2005 to 2010 Mustangs, including the V6, GT, Bullitt and Shelby GT500 models with either a factory or aftermarket MAF sensor.

I have a 2008 mustang GT with bolt on mods and a tune. Car was hesitating from low to mid range rpm. Plugged in diablosport. Played around with the default settings. Found that 7 ( five percent richness) gave my car a crazy increase in hp. Definitly cured my pegging issue. Thank you.Helpful (13)

Diablosport MAF Interface Adapter
Really works. Faster acceleration. For those of you that think their mass air is pegging, you need this.Helpful (22)
Would this work with a tune or would it be a pointless mod when being paired with a tune?
The Diablosport MAFia is designed for cars making enough power to exceed the capabilities of the stock MAF to accurately measure the airflow. This extends the range of the MAF for these cars. A tune may be required depending on the setting your individual setup requires. We recommend consulting with your tuner to determine if this part is required and what setting is needed.
In addition to installing a Diablosport Mafia, does an aftermarket mass air flow sensor need to also be installed? If so, Is there a sensor of choice or recommended sensor?
Multiple answers contradicting each other in this section.... Will a v6 NA motor modded with aftermarket CAI, throttle body, headers, true dual conversion need or at least benefit from this MAFia plug n play kit?
This Daiablosport MAFia is not necessary to make a Mustang run with those modifications. If a tune is required on any of those products, then you would need to get a custom tune. Pairing a custom tune both with those modifications, and with this product here, will indeed benefit your ride.
my question is I have a mustang v6 06 I installed the procharger p1sc with the tuner VMP tuning with a melody my problem is with the sensor Maf. When the car accelerates it goes off and loses strength my question is I have to replace the Maf sensor from factory another high flow or there is something more to be like in the descriptions of the procharger does not say that you have to replace it I do not know what to do
We would advise reaching out to a local shop as we would be unable to diagnose your vehicles issues with acceleration without physically inspecting your vehicle. Upon diagnosis we would be glad to take a look with you in terms of any parts we may have that would help assist with this issue.
Does this allow you adjust a/f ratio some?
The Diablosport MAFia does not allow for air/fuel ratio's directly. This could theoretically could be used to adjust air/fuel ratio by tricking the car into thinking more/less air is coming in, however we strongly recommend against this, as this would not safely modify air/fuel ratio. We recommend a tune or mechanical repair if you are having air/fuel ratio issues.
No, the Mustang does not need to be force inducted to use this calibrator. However, the Diablosport MAFia Mass Air Flow Calibrator is a direct plug and play upgrade adapter for all 2005 to 2010 Mustangs, including the V6, GT, Bullitt and Shelby GT500 models with either a factory or aftermarket MAF sensor.
Yes, this will work to extend the range of the MAF sensor. After installing this the tune will need to be updated to accommodate for how this re-scales the MAF though.
You should not need this MAFia unit for your Mustang. This device is intended for Mustangs adding a supercharger or turbocharger where the factory sensor may not be reading the amount of incoming air properly. The MAFia unit allows it to have a wider range to monitor the incoming airflow. So, with you being Naturally Aspirated currently this wouldn't be needed.
No, you will still need a tune for your cold air. The MAFia can only richen the MAF curve by 5% without a tune and typically that is not enough with a Cold Air kit.
This mafia will definitely work for your car. However we can't write tunes for this item. We highly recommend getting the car on the Dyno to dial everything in perfectly. A MAFia is used when you have too much horsepower for your MAF sensor. The volume of air passing the MAF is too much for it to read, so it flat-lines at the maximum voltage reading. What this product does is trick the MAF into reading higher, and extends the hp range that you can get away with using your MAF sensor. On your 2007 Mustang, it's not going to be necessary until you're running a superchager, and even then it depends on what size inlet your factory MAF sensor is placed in. You'll probably be a good candidate for this product if you're making over 400 horsepower to the wheels with your factory MAF sensor. Hope this helps!
