When Installing do you stab it in at tdc or 10°btdc? And the rotor point towards drivers side or 12 of clock? I've been trying to figure this out my mustang hasn't been running like it used too

        • When installing the OPR Distributor, as long as this is installed the same way it was removed, you should not experience any issues. Once installed, use a timing light to verify ignition timing is between 10* and 12*. You may need to slightly adjust the timing to get the car to run 100% Correct. If the original distributor was not marked to confirm installation in the same position as removal, turn the motor to top dead center, and install the distributor with the rotor pointed to the #1 cylinder.

            Fixed my problem

My car would die after driving about 25 miles then would start up after an hour like nothing happened. After a few weeks of changing parts and researching, I bought this. Now my car will run all day long without any problems.

Great replacement if you're on a budget

Stock distributor wore out on my 95 GT causing a misfire and then it broke down. Autozone and Pepboys reman. distributors didn't work well. American Muscle's reman. OEM distributor works great! Idles great and no more pinging past 4,000 rpm. Good price as well.
