          Just ok

The idea of this product is good, you obviously do not have to work around the prop rod. The struts are a bit too stiff for a fiberglass hood. These struts are under full pressure when collapsed and will distort fiberglass hood fitment. You may be able to adjust it out, you may not. Also what is not mentioned in the install manual, is that on a fox there is an interference issue with the center fender bolt. All the foxes in the pics clearly have this bolt removed. Based on my clearance issue, I may grind the head of the bolt down and shim up the lower strut bracket. Again the strut pressure is too great in my opinion. Flexes both fiberglass hood and the fender apron when closing. The more I look at it the more I think I should have done a lift off hood with DZUS fasteners or kept the prop rod. When I reworked the bay I shaved all prop rod related items from the core support, so im kind of stuck with this strut setup.

          Perfect fit

Easy install and clean look. No problems at all. Great for show, sits flush and barely noticeable.

          redline elite hood struts

They work, look good with the stainless, just a nice add-on that saves a lot of work using the hood prop. Thanks

          Redline hood struts

A bit scary drilling holes in fender and hood, but well worth it. Gives the engine bay a nice clean view of motor. Highly recommend.

          EXCELLENT

GREAT INSTRUCTIONS, I HAVE A TIP, CUT A PIECE OF RIGID PLASTIC TUBING THAT SLIDES OVER THE DRILL BIT AND IS CUT SO ONLY THE EXACT LENGTH FOR DEPTH IS SHOWING, THIS WILL PREVENT YOU FROM DRILLING THROUGH YOUR HOOD. REALLY COOL WITH OUT THE OLD SWING ARM! CHEERS, BRIAN IN CANADA

          great product

these hood shocks work really well . I would recommend when installing lower fender bracket to install sheet metal screws with 3/8 impact gun to start screws other then that their great.

          Great Product but...

I love the hood struts. They look great and are easy to install. They work well with my Crevini's Stalker hood. One issue though. My hood always had a low spot in the middle along the fender on both sides. The struts pushed the low spot up so now it's even. But... now the right frount corner is a little high and I can't figure out hou to adjust it.

          Redline Tuning Hoodlifts are awesome!

I installed these on my 98 Cobra and they are awesome. The install took only about 30 minutes and they work perfectly. I only have to raise the hood about 12 inches and the lifts take over. Great product with awesome instructions!
